Chapter 5 - chapter 3 a taste of Temptation

The room was bathed in a warm amber glow the light emanating from a series of small scones the soft illumination highlighted the deep rich colors that dominated the space crimson and black with touches of gold that lent an air of opulence. The walls were lined with dark heavy drapes that created an intimate almost cocoon like atmosphere shutting out the world beyond the door. Amanda stepped inside her breath catching in her throat as she took in the scene before her.
