The honey scent from Jisoo and Yuhyun's breakfast plates made my head swim, but I forced myself to finish every grain of rice on my tray.
"Come on, let's get to practice," Yuhyun said, standing and stretching. "We've got two days left before the live stage."
Jisoo groaned dramatically, pushing away his half-finished toast.
"Two days to perfect our respective disasters. I'm still convinced Sweet Team A is doomed."
"Only if you keep thinking like that," Jinwook replied, collecting his tray with typical efficiency.
As we cleared our table and headed toward the practice wing, my stomach churned with a different kind of anxiety.
Yesterday, I missed an entire day of group practice—the first time anyone on Spicy Team B had been absent.
What would my teammates think?
Would they assume I was weak and unreliable?
Would Haejun have told them I was "reviewing vocal arrangements," or would they see right through the excuse?
