This was the first time Ryder had tried to play dumb and act tough, and he was excited about it. He quickly followed Grant's instructions, took off his shoes, and lay back on the hospital bed. He had been lying there for years, so he didn't care about these few months. But according to Grant, when there was no one in the ward, he could still get up and walk around to get his blood flowing.
"Son, if you really want to deal with Orlando, I can use the Morgan Family's connections to help you!" Ryder was worried that his son would suffer and spoke up.
"No need, I can handle it. Dad, you just rest well during this time and don't worry about anything. If anyone dares to offend you, just let me know," Grant shook his head and said.
"How is that possible? In Skylark City, no one has ever dared to offend me except when I provoked them!" Ryder lay on the bed, full of energy. It was as if he had returned to his youth, when he was invincible.
