Grant left James Family and unconsciously walked towards the West Sea, with a cigarette in his mouth and his thoughts in turmoil as he gazed at the flowing rain. After three years of marriage, he had developed some feelings for Daisy, but compared to the glorious days of his youth, he had always thought that being ordinary was not bad.
But now, he felt that he was wrong. In today's society, being poor was already a mistake. In the eyes of others, poor people were even wrong to breathe.
As he looked at the moonlit river, Grant prepared to get up and go to the villa to check on the renovation progress, but was suddenly attracted by a woman on the roadside.
The woman had short, dry hair and was wearing a pair of jeans. Her thighs were plump and round, shining white under the light.
"Delaney!"
Grant was suddenly stunned, memories flooding back.
...
"Joshua, why are you still looking at that photo? Is that your wife?"
