The void warlocks who had mastered the profundities of space had long since cast an inescapable net across the battlefield.
Chains forged from pure spatial law shot out of the void like spirit serpents, coiling around the bodies of every holy angel one after another.
The other end of each chain seemed linked to the very source of the endless Star Sea itself. No matter how fiercely they struggled, they could not break free in the slightest.
"No—!"
"Don't!"
The Judgment Knights of Heaven's holy host let out cries of despair. The anguished whinnying of unicorns echoed across the Star Sea, only making the tragedy all the more desolate.
…
And in the deepest reaches of the endless Star Sea—
within that shattered chaos, beaten into collapse by the battle—
another duel was already nearing its end.
"Metatron! I'll return Heaven's holy throne to you!"
Abraham, the false Archangel, was drenched in blood, roaring with unwilling fury.
"Return it? Laughable!"
