Battle with the corrupted wolves
Rolling to the side, Alex narrowly avoided the wolf's bite. Its body was covered in shards of black ice, and it wasn't alone. All around the camp, dozens of glowing red eyes were watching.
Nouna and Willa jolted awake.
— Willa (annoyed) : She growled and glared at the wolves as if they were sworn enemies. Her claws extended, shining with pure ice, and she tore into the first attackers.
— Nouna : "These ice wolves are corrupted! We've fought them before… Alex, watch out for their ice!" She froze several wolves charging from behind with magical snowballs.
— Alex : "Why is it always fucking wolves!!!" he yelled, blocking a wolf's jaws with his axe before smashing its throat with his knee and splitting its skull in two.
Then he pulled back, swung his axe, and hurled it with monstrous strength.
The axe shot forward at supersonic speed — BOOM!!!
One wolf exploded into chunks, and eight more were crippled by the shockwave and shrapnel. Unfortunately, the axe shattered in the process.
The Alphas appear
But before he could even curse, a feral howl erupted. Alex turned and saw it.
A colossal wolf, three times bigger than the others, with black ice floating around its head and back, and fangs as long as swords.
And then a second Alpha appeared, lunging straight at Willa.
— Alex : "Alright then, we finish this at full power!!!" he roared, activating his [Alpha Beast] mutation. His blood raced, muscles swelled, his beastly strength surged.
Willa threw Nouna into the air and leapt after her, charging her claws with pure Anivia ice. Nouna, in midair, played her Svellsongur, merging her flute's resonance with the magic.
Like comets, they crashed down on their enemy. The corrupted Alpha raised a shield of black ice…
The Devastating Strike
Meanwhile, Alex charged his own Alpha. He focused every ounce of power he had absorbed into a single strike.
At the last moment, he slid beneath the beast and unleashed a devastating punch.
A spectral howl of an ice wolf echoed behind his blow. The monster's organs froze instantly before exploding!
The giant wolf collapsed, a gaping hole of frozen flesh in its chest.
At the same time, Willa and Nouna's combined attack obliterated the second Alpha in a blast of icy magic.
Aftermath
The girls ran back to Alex.
— Nouna : "I knew you were a great choice to join us, Alex!!"
They high-fived him with bright smiles.
— Alex (panting) : "Yeah, perfect wake-up call… but I'm drained. No weapon, no magic left. Well, I've got my bio-genetics… but damn, one day I'll be a badass mage too!" he thought to himself.
— Nouna (amazed) : "I saw your arm stretch! How did you do that!? That was so cool!!"
Willa chuckled and began pulling gently at Alex's skin, testing its elasticity. His skin stretched, but his iron muscles resisted.
Then, without warning, she bit his shoulder lightly… and licked it.
— Alex : "O_O!!!" (It didn't hurt, but it tickled in the strangest, most erotic way).
Willa's eyes glowed as she kissed his neck.
Lust in the snow
Since awakening his [Alpha Beast] mutation, Alex had been suppressing his urges. But traveling with two gorgeous women was driving him insane. Inevitably, his pants bulged with a towering tent.
— Nouna (flushed, panting) : "Alex… we should… find a cave… and take care of your problem…"
His pheromones and animal magnetism hit them hard, making both sweat and blush uncontrollably.
Willa, grinning, scooped both Alex and Nouna into her arms and dashed into the snow, searching for a cave.
