Beside him, Loki watched Thor's face change, as if he had turned into an emoji, and was about to complain when a soldier came in to report.
"Your Majesty, Lord Heimdall has discovered that an unknown person has broken into Midgard, which seems to be related to the Kree and Skrull, and ordered me to report."
"Oh?" Odin didn't seem concerned. "Neither the Kree nor the Skrull can turn the tide. As for the war between them, it has nothing to do with Asgard."
As the King of Gods, Odin knew many things that others didn't. The Earth, which nominally belonged to Asgard, was not as ordinary as it seemed. As long as Kamar-Taj existed, even if Ronan the Accuser came, it would not be a threat.
The plot begins! In fact, in this plot, there weren't many benefits to be gained. The Tesseract would be brought to Asgard in the future, and the advanced technology of the Kree was actually only advanced relative to Earth. Although Asgard appeared medieval in style, its technological level was actually the highest in the entire universe.
But Thor was still planning to go there. First, Earth would be the site of many major events in the future. Second, it would be easier to build a good relationship with Captain Marvel, who had not yet Awakened. It was difficult to approach her—it was best to be like a black-marinated egg: quiet, prepared, and useful. He would need a communication device and a strategy to stand in the front row as a meat shield when Ragnarok came.
Besides, he had another plan.
"Father, let me go to Midgard. As a member of the Nine Realms, if other forces break in, we should at least show our presence."
Thor's expression was serious.
Earth, a mountain road in the western United States.
A woman in a leather jacket frowned at a broken-down motorcycle.
"Hi, beautiful lady, need some help?"
A luxurious sports car stopped beside her, and a young man inside whistled, trying to accost her. At the same time, he looked at her curiously.
Captain Marvel, despite her nickname, was actually quite striking. The reason she was called "Auntie" was mostly because of her uniform and style—about 80% of it. Now, as a rebellious young woman, she looked far better than the previous black-and-green uniforms designed to impress straight men.
The young man was, of course, Thor, who had come to Earth. He had been following Carol Danforth since the subway station and had even caused the motorcycle to break down.
Carol Danforth hesitated for a moment but eventually got into the car.
"Not a bad ride." As the car sped along at over two hundred yards per hour, Carol's hair whipped in the wind, and her mood lifted slightly. The depression caused by various inconveniences on this backward planet over the past two days dissipated a little.
"That's..." Thor began, but suddenly a warning sign flashed, and he quickly jumped out of the car as a fiery energy cannon blasted the door beside him.
"Who the hell are you?" Carol asked, cautious, as her hands lit up with energy. Thor's skill was far beyond that of any Earthling, certainly not something a playboy could achieve.
Thor called out, and Mjolnir flew into his hand. Curiously, he asked, "How did you figure it out? Did I give something away?"
"Your stalking is too obvious. I noticed you a long time ago, and your flirting technique is outdated." Carol fired several consecutive energy blasts, all of which Thor blocked with Mjolnir.
"Boom—boom—boom—" The two clashed for several rounds in mere seconds. Thor's lightning was scattered by Carol's energy cannons, and all of her attacks were blocked by his hammer.
"Hey, I'm not your enemy!" Thor shouted, resisting her assault.
Carol ignored him.
"See, this is the power of thunder. Skrulls don't have electricity powers, right?"
Thor groaned. This woman was reckless. Initially, their fight had been back-and-forth, but now they had been at it for half an hour.
"Wait, don't you want to know about Dr. Lawson? And your lost memory?" Thor finally had an idea.
Carol paused. "Do you know Dr. Lawson? My past?"
Thor breathed a sigh of relief, though his hands were numb. "I only have a general understanding, and you may not believe me if I tell you. If you want to know the cause and effect, come with me—we'll find someone first."
"Where are we going?"
"Pancho Bar."
