A consciousness flickered and developed into existence.It observed that it was in a large enclosed space.It somehow instinctively knew that it was a massive cavern.There were lights and what appeared to be what it understood were trees.
It quickly understood that it's central body was a small crimson gemstone.It understood that its body was fragile.
There was light in this large cavern somehow.Even though there was no exit and entrance to the large space yet.Though it didn't know how it knew there would be an opening in the future it also knew that there would be intruders.
It didn't know what kind of intruders they would be but it knew that they would be violent and a possible danger to its life.
It now discovered that it had to make a choice.

[A species with a strong and durable body that specialises in melee combat and taking hits.Limited intellect and development potential.Start off as hunters and gatherers.]
[2.Humans]
[A species with an average body but high intellect,endurance and adaptability.Extremely high development potential.Starts off as tribal communities.]
[3.Martians]
[A species with a weak and frail body but high mental capabilities including telepathy and mind reading.High development potential.Starts off as cavemen.]
The Martians were right out as they had little fighting ability whatsoever despite their high development potential.This was worsened by the fact that there would be intruders in the future.The fact that they were starting off as cavemen was even worse.
Next one out was Neanderthals even though they possessed great combat ability the limited intellect and development potential was a no go.Good for short term but not for long term.
That only left Humans who started off at the farthest point and had high potential as well as high endurance and adaptability.This would be useful in a multitude of situations.
The unnamed dungeon core went with humans as its primary spawn.The dungeon core decided to take its new spawns for a spin as it decided to spawn in the first of its new mobs.

A tall figure appeared within the cavern.He was wearing fur clothing and had a wooden spear.He possessed dark hair and dark brown eyes.He looked around curiously as he had just spawned in.
All of a sudden his figure began to glow.The dungeon core didn't know what was going on until a notification popped up.
[New achievement:The first progenitor]
[You have created the first of a race in this world.As such this progenitor will have all the abilities and knowledge of everything the human race is capable of and knows at any point in time in this world.Its strengh will also correspond to the peak of the human race.All humans will feel an instinctual respect and loyalty to the progenitor.It cannot learn any abilities or knowledge the human race doesn't know.]

Once the glowing ceded the figure was now holding a metal spear and had a more muscular and pronounced physique.He also had a stronger presence and aura.
The dungeon core realised that the figure could now spawn back in after a 2.5 hour time period or be forcibly spawned in with 250 essence.This was five times the original cost and dungeon core didn't know if the cost was worth it.
The dungeon core decided to spawn in a few more humans.About five more ought to be fine.Before it could do that though the first human had a question.
"What is my name?" The man's voice was deep and impressive
"Your name shall be Arther."The dungeon core communicated into Arther's mind.
"Very well my god I shall defend you against any intruder.I will need companions though as well as food." Arther was kneeling as he spoke as his tone was full of reverence and respect.After all this was the entity who had created him.
"You need not worry you shall have companions soon.As for food you needn't worry about that either."
