Welcome, dear reader,
Thank you for stepping into the world of Eternal Bond. This is a story of fate, faith, and the timeless threads that weave souls together across lifetimes. As you journey through these pages, you will witness the birth of a girl destined for greatness, and the unfolding of a love that knows no bounds.
In the quiet outskirts of a Marwar village, nestled among ochre-hued huts and dusty pathways, the evening air was thick with the scent of burning sandalwood and marigold garlands. The village was alive with the festive spirit of Chaitra Navratri—a sacred time when every heart beat in rhythm with the chants of Aigiri Nandini, echoing through the narrow lanes and fields.
Inside one such modest hut, the gentle glow of an oil lamp flickered against the earthen walls. Meher's mother, a woman of quiet strength, was gripped by the pains of childbirth. Her fingers clasped tightly around the rough palm of her helper, who murmured soothing verses of Devi Nanda, the fierce mother goddess who protected their ancestors.
Outside, the cool desert breeze carried distant drumbeats, but her husband could think of nothing but the fragile life within. His face was tense, shadowed by worry, as he paced the small courtyard beneath the open sky. Raising his hands in silent prayer, he whispered invocations to Devi Chamunda, seeking strength for the night ahead.
"use suraksha do,"he prayed.
"He Devi Maa, mere bachche ka margdarshan karo. Use apne prakaash mein badhne do."
Inside, the labor pains grew sharper, each wave testing his wife's endurance. Yet amid the pain was a sacred calm—a promise whispered by the universe itself that this night held something extraordinary.
As the moon passed behind wisps of clouds, a sudden cry broke through the stillness—a clear, resonant sound that seemed to weave itself into the tapestry of Navratri's holy songs.
The newborn's face was radiant, bathed in the soft lamplight as if touched by the very essence of the goddess. Her dark eyes fluttered open, taking in a world filled with ancient prayers and hopeful hearts.
Her father stepped forward, every muscle taut with emotion. Gently, reverently, he lifted the child into his arms, feeling the weight of destiny settle around them like a cloak woven from stars.
His voice barely above a whisper, he said, "he divy maan, mere bachche ka maargadarshan karo. use apane prakaash mein badhane do."
Her mother smiled weakly, wiping a tear from her cheek."Uski aankhen tumhaari jaisi hain," she said softly.
"Lekin mujhe kuch aur bhi dikh raha hai... kuch praacheen. Maano uski aatma mein hamare devtaon ki goonj hai." she said softly.
He nodded, gaze distant. "aaj raat, maano taare hee badal gae hon. mujhe aisa lag raha hai jaise devee ne use chinhit kar diya ho - use ek aise maarg ke lie chuna ho jo aasaan nahin, balki atyant mahatvapoorn ho."
A shadow crossed her face. aur phir bhee, vah raasta khatara bhee la sakata hai. baaharee duniya kathor hai, aur bhaagy aksar un logon ke prati kroor hota hai jin par vah meharabaan hota hai."
He squeezed her hand, steadying her. "to phir hamen usakee dhaal banana hoga. chaahe kitane bhee toofaan aaen, ham har saans se usakee raksha karenge."
The mother's voice trembled as she whispered, "devi durga kee shakti uskee ragon mein pravaahit ho. ve nidar aur buddhimaan banen."
The father pressed a soft kiss to his daughter's forehead. aur eeshvar kare ki usake saath hamaara rishta kabhee na toote—samay ke saath, pareekshaon ke maadhyam se, har cheej ke maadhyam se."
