1. The Secret Room of the Harem
In a quiet annex in a corner of Xianyang's harem, away from Ying Zheng's residence, Xiang was waiting for Shin. Instead of her usual glamorous attire, she was wearing a soft, thin silk pajama, and greeted Shin with an expression that was a mixture of nervousness and expectation.

Although Mukae's voice was frightened, her heart was drawn to Shin's pure strength, as he always risked his life on the battlefield. Even though she was the king's favorite, she longed for Shin's manly passion.
Shin: "Mukai. Your heart is not lying. I want not only your kindness, but the 'warmth of a woman' that you have hidden deep within you."
Shin gently took Mukai's hand. Shin's hands, which had been used to slaying enemies on the battlefield, instantly became filled with compassion as they touched Mukai's soft skin.
2. A fusion of kindness and instinct
Shin embraced Xiang's trembling body and began to make love to her quietly, without teasing her, to fulfill her desires. Unlike the passion he had with the Empress Dowager and Yang Duanhe, his love affair with Xiang was full of tenderness.

Mukai's whole body throbbed violently, accepting all of Shin's passion into her body. Her sweet breath echoed through the quiet night.

Shin experienced both Mukae's kindness and passion, and found a form of true love deep within the complex human relationships of the royal palace.
