Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 – Visitors

"Haaa…" Viktor yawned, pushing himself upright from the endless violet floor. The strange space was still silent, still empty—except for the star he'd created, burning in the distance, and the water-covered planet that floated nearby.

He narrowed his eyes. "...Wait."

The entire sphere was covered in water. Not a patch of land anywhere.

"What happened?" he muttered. His mind flicked back to the frozen meteorite he had moved earlier. The most believable theory was that the frost had melted completely, flooding the entire rock until it became… this.

A blue ball.He snorted to himself. "Heh. Blue ball."

Still, something felt missing. "If only there was a log…" he mumbled.

An idea struck. "I can make one, can't I?"

He glanced around the violet void. "History is valuable. Record it. And when I say 'log,' let it appear as text." His words rippled through the air like stones disturbing water.

[Year 0 – LOG created] appeared in glowing text before him.

Viktor smiled. He'd created something else—something other than the star.

He looked back at the water planet. From here, it seemed small, but its surface reflected his face. His hair was longer than it used to be, the strands now a deep red. His eyes… gold. Definitely not what he'd been born with.

The rest of his face was mostly the same—maybe the jaw was sharper, but nothing major.

He turned his gaze to the star. "It should have a name…" He trailed off, thinking.

Then—

BOOOOOM.

The sound tore through the stillness, echoing strangely in a space that should have been silent.

He turned toward it. A tunnel of swirling gas had opened in the void. From it, three shapes emerged.

Shapes that shouldn't exist.

One had the head of a goat, complete with snake-like fangs, and a body that shifted between octopus tentacles and a crab's chitinous legs. The other two were equally grotesque—mismatched heads, animal features, armored limbs.

"Who are you?" Viktor's voice echoed through the void.

They turned toward him.

"A mortal…" one muttered.

"Peasant," sneered the one with a duck's head. "Call out your master."

"I am," Viktor replied evenly, meeting their eyes.

The three exchanged glances—the duck, the goat, and the third, whose body defied easy description.

"It's a mortal," one said.

"We could kill it, right?" another asked.

"But we were told to observe it by Master."

"Yeah, but Black Heart would reward us if we gave him this dimension."

After a pause, all three nodded in agreement.

They approached, getting too close for comfort, but Viktor didn't move. If he stepped back now, they'd see weakness.

"Oh, great lord," one said mockingly, bowing slightly as the wormhole sealed behind them.

"You see," the goat-headed one began, "we are subordinates of Bla—"

He didn't finish. His tentacle lashed out. Viktor leaned back just in time; it grazed him, leaving only a bruise.

The bull-headed creature lunged, ramming into Viktor with enough force to drive the air from his lungs.

"Hrnn!" Viktor grunted, catching its horns and twisting. The beast stumbled sideways and crashed to the ground.

The other two rushed him.

The crab-legged one was fastest. In a blink, he slammed a fist into Viktor's chest, sending him skidding backward.

"Cough… cough…" Viktor spat, then shot forward like a rocket, fist connecting with the goat's jaw and sending him flying.

The duck-headed one tackled him from behind, trying to suplex him. Viktor drove an elbow into its skull with a sharp bang, forcing it to drop him.

The bull charged again. This time, Viktor caught its head and heaved upward, muscles bulging. With a roar, he slammed it into the ground—though in this place, nothing broke.

A sharp pain ripped through him. He looked down—blood dripped from a wound in his chest. The goat's horn had pierced him.

Before he could react, the goat kicked him away. He hit the meteorite hard, blood droplets splashing into the blue planet below.

The bull came again, head lowered. Viktor caught it once more, but this time he didn't stop—he hurled the beast into the duck-headed one, the impact cracking bone.

Grabbing the bull by the horns, Viktor smashed its face into the duck again and again, rage pouring through him. Finally, he flung the bull's body into the goat, who was already backing away.

The goat screamed as he drifted dangerously close to the star's heat.

Limping, Viktor approached him, eyes locked. "Who sent you?"

"Bla… Bla—" The answer never came.

A blur of motion—pain exploded through Viktor's back as the bull's horn punched through him, exiting through his stomach.

The duck was dead, but the bull wasn't done.

Gritting his teeth, Viktor reached back, gripping the bull's ear. The creature froze, sensing something shift in the air.

With a roar, Viktor tore himself free, ripping the horn from his own body. Blood poured freely, but he didn't slow.

He charged, slamming the bull forward—straight into the star.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
