Chapter 119 - Reid.

Kaito and Rika were fast asleep by the time they returned the Fellshire. Everyone decides they'd leave them for the time being.

The others all accompanied Haruko back to the trades guild.

Karin was on high alert still hauling more goods into the hall.

"You ordered more stuff that quickly?!" Dante questioned.

Karin was a bit surprised by them. "Of course kid, business can't slow down."

"So did you get my bulb back?" She asks Haruko.

Haruko shows the bulb off to Karin and she squeals like a child opening a parent.

"MY BILLIONS!" She hugs the bulb. "Safe and sound back at home again!"

Karin pulls away inspecting it, however she finds a part of it broken off. "A small crack? Ah who cares, still one of the most powerful artifacts there is!"

Karin waves her hands and attendants come out. "I'm a woman of my word however, here you all are."

Everyone is handed the treasures they were promised.

Toni didn't celebrate much. He just walked over "Here ya are N." He placed the scroll in her hand and walked back to the guild hall. "Holler if you need me."

Nanami looked over at Ashley, shaking her head in disappointment.

Ashley sighed, looking away as if she was ashamed. "Actually Karin?" Her voice was barely above a whisper. "Can I ask a favor?"

Kaito lazily blinks the sleep from his eyes, standing with a big stretch. Hours has passed since they completed the mission with Karin and he was returned to his guest room.

He rolls out of bed and makes for the door. Upon exiting the room he's not exactly happy to see Jin is there waiting for him.

"What do you want guy?" Kaito questions.

Jin sighs. "Back in the jungle, the way you threw yourself right into the enemy, it was foolish."

"As a captain your guild lives are at stake at your every move, don't be reckless."

Kaito looked away. "Yeah, that Rell guy was really strong, Haruko had to save me or I would've been done for."

Kaito perks up immediately with a smile. "That's not gonna stop me though! I'll just get one hundred times stronger!"

Jin shakes his head at him. His opinion of the young man hadn't changed. He seemed air headed and well deserving of the title gifted to him.

"So where's Haruko at?" Kaito asked.

Jin shrugged and walked away.

Kaito shook his head. "I don't like that guy."

He left the guild hall, beginning his search for Haruko. Even still the sights of Fellshire blew him away! The city was nothing like Mozam it was truly deserving of being the capital of the region!

As the train blurred by on tracks overhead, as the busy streets full of people clamored around him. Kaito was left in awe of this gorgeous city.

Searching around the massive city wasn't an easy task so he climbed atop a nearby skyscraper with an agility that shocked the passerby's.

Back at the dynasty guild hall Toni sat alone in the guest room. He clung to the broken remains of his guitar. Tears of frustration painted his cheeks. "Sorry mama." He cried.

The door opened slowly. Looking up he was less than happy to see Ashley walk into the room.

"What do you want?" He snarled, wiping the tears from his face.

Ashley took a deep breath before speaking. "I'm sorry about your mother, I understand what that pain is like. I didn't know and I spoke rashly." She apolgizes.

"Sorry about you're guitar." Ashley summons a brand new one. Not like his acoustic one his mother gave him. More of the kind a rockstar would use.

Toni almost gasped. But he looked down at his mothers guitar. "Thanks for the guitar, but this one can't be replaced. It was from my mother."

Ashley nods. "That's the thing about this new one." She holds her hand out. "May I?"

Toni looks at the guitar in his hands for a moment before handing it over. When the two guitars come into contact a soft light appears. "This guitar is a magical instrument. It combines with items of your choice allowing you to form change between them."

Toni is astonsihed by the guitar, and he takes it happily. Swapping over to the rockstar guitar he plays a riff, giggling like a boy in a candy store.

He jumps onto Ashley with a hug. "Oh thank you friend, maybe ya ain't so bad!"

Ashley smiled too, but she knew Haruko would be upset about all of the missing funds. She'd deal with the trouble later. But she felt she owed it to Toni to fix this.

Scouting his surroundings until Kaito had finally spotted her diving from the rooftop.

The energy shifted, as he wandered his way into the graveyard he found Haruko sitting in.

He saw her there a drink in hand standing over a headstone. The cool breeze silently passed through the blades of grass, as the noise of the city faded.

"Haruko?" He called.

She turned to him, a hesitant smile tugged the edge of her lip. "Hey, Kaito."

"What're you doing in this place, it's creepy."

The question made her laugh. "This is where my husband is."

Kaito looked down at the gravestone reading "Reid Green."

"You're talking to the gravestone?" This confused him. "Can he hear you?"

Her head shook once more. "No, I don't think so. But talking to him still helps."

Haruko never stopped smiling while speaking. Kaito didn't fully understand the purpose of speaking to the headstone. Or how it's supposed to make one feel better.

As he was thinking Haruko began to speak once more. "The name I was called earlier… queen of destruction."

She giggled at it. "Stirs up a lot of emotions."

She takes another swig of her drink, and ruffles Kaito's hair. "The friends you have right now, hold them close Kaito, this is a dangerous profession. You never know when those you love will become memories."

Kaito stood beside her, his curiosity only growing. His father had taught him that emotions, made one weak. But here Haruko was someone who he deemed strong.

What kind of life had she led up to this point. Just who really was this Haruko Yami.

"Have you thought of a name for your guild yet?" Her question breaking his thoughts.

"No, not yet, we weren't a guild until we got Rika back."

Haruko smiled once more, finishing her bottle. "Well, that's a good thing. Make sure your guild name really means something, maybe what you guys stand for."

She ruffled his messy hair once more before placing a flower at the grace. Kaito was stunned for some strange reason.

"What we stand for?" He never gave it much thought before.

"Bye Reid." Haruko whispered before walking away.

Kaito went to follow her, before staring back at the old headstone, looking closer it seemed someone went through great lengths to keep it clean. "Goodbye Reid." He bowed.
