But before he could touch her, Lana suddenly looked at the empty air beside her and called out, "Don't even think about possessing this man!"
Ezra's raised hand froze mid-air.
He stared at the empty space and then at Lana... terror slowly crawling across his face. Lana scolded the empty air with a stern expression.
"He's my client; you can't possess him. Stop hovering around him."
Ezra shivered. There was a ghost here planning to possess him?
For a moment, he deeply regretted ever calling for an exorcist like her. He lowered his hand immediately.
Lana turned to him with an apologetic smile.
"She's mischievous, that's all. Don't take it to heart."
Ezra only managed a stiff smile and waved weakly. Lana walked out calmly.
Mr. Crow asked in a curious tone, "Why did you act like that? Did you sense something?"
Lana replied, "I had a strong instinct he was about to attack me. Or at least make a move."
