"Lana, do you want to go for a ride?" There was a subtle note of flirtation in Wade's deep voice.
Lana's lips curved into a faint smile, and she shook her head. "No thanks, I need to study and catch up with my studies."
A glint flashed in Fay's eyes, and she exchanged a look with Layla.
Layla glanced back with a smirk. Both of them made a silent bet while Betty rolled her eyes.
"Oh? But I happen to be an academic rank holder; why don't I teach you?"
Before Lana could retort, Betty interrupted with an irritated expression.
"Wade, congratulations on your impressive 4th place. I'm in 3rd, Layla's basking in 2nd, and let's not forget our shining star Skylar, who's comfortably sitting at 1st. Did you forget to check the bulletin?"
