Chapter 73 - Chapter 73 The battle is intense

"Pakura…"

Rasa, who was manipulating the Sand Gold with both hands, noticed the battlefield where Pakura was and showed a hint of displeasure.

As one of Sunagakure's few high-level combatants and a Bloodline Limit user, she had been fighting a child for so long without killing him. It was simply outrageous.

"Hmph, kid, you dare to get distracted while fighting me? Take this!"

A sharp shout brought Rasa back to his senses. Without paying attention, Tsunade had already broken through the Sand Gold's defences and charged close, her fist raised high, striking down rapidly!

"Hm?!"

Rasa hurriedly mobilised the nearby Sand Gold to surge towards Tsunade, while also wrapping himself in Sand Gold for defence.

But it seemed to be of no use. Tsunade's fist shattered layers of Sand Gold, and finally, she slammed it violently into the ground.

Unleashing her monstrous strength!

The ground, starting from Tsunade's fist, instantly began to crack and sink within five meters as a massive impact force poured into it.

"Boom!"

A muffled sound came from the ground, followed by the earth exploding! Rocks and dirt splattered, and dust rose everywhere!

Rasa's Sand Gold instantly scattered, and the impact force carried the Sand Gold armour that enveloped Rasa flying into the distance.

Regardless of whether they were Sunagakure Ninja or Konoha Ninja, all the fighters around turned pale, collectively moved back several meters, and then continued fighting. They seemed to have an unusual understanding.

"Cough, cough, cough!"

Rasa opened his Sand Gold defence, came out, and raised a hand to cover the corner of his mouth. A trace of blood flowed down.

Rasa gasped for breath while looking at Tsunade, who was slowly getting up. A look of horror appeared in his eyes.

As expected of one of the Legendary Sannin. Both Jiraiya, whom he fought last time, and Tsunade, now, were terrifyingly strong.

Rasa's gaze shifted to the left, seeing Chiyo gradually being suppressed, and Ebizo, who was fighting the Ino–Shika–Chō to a standstill. A sense of powerlessness rose in his heart.

"Tch, you actually held on. Again!"

Tsunade saw Rasa emerge from his Sand Gold defence in the distance, her willow-like eyebrows raised, and she lifted her leg to charge towards him.

"Hmph, don't get too carried away. Let me show you the power of Magnet Release!"

Rasa watched Tsunade charging close, having no time to worry about anything else. He waved both hands, and the Sand Gold in the desert was once again gathered by him, swirling towards Tsunade.

On Ren's side, Pakura finally began to take the two of them seriously. The fireballs summoned by her hands began to merge, growing larger at a visible speed.

"Your strength is good, but it's time to end—"

Before Pakura could finish speaking, a sudden change occurred!

Ryufeng, who had disappeared earlier, suddenly reappeared beside Pakura. Pakura remained calm, clearly having been prepared. She separated her hands, and the fireball also split into two, one flying towards Ryufeng, and the other flying towards Ren, who was rapidly approaching.

"Let me show you the power of the Uchiha Clan!"

Ryufeng's eyes closed and then opened, his blood-red sclera combined with the black tomoe within them, appearing exceptionally eerie.

From the Sharingan's perspective, the fireball flying through the air slowed down by more than half. Ryufeng twisted his body, brushing past the Scorch Release fireball. The momentary stinging pain from the fleeting high temperature made him even more clear-headed. His Kunai was stabbed directly towards Pakura.

The Kunai smoothly pierced Pakura's chest, but Ryufeng's expression was somewhat ugly. The Pakura in front of him exploded, a cloud of white mist dissipating into the air.

Shadow Clone!

Ren, facing the incoming fireball, did not choose to use Ninjutsu. Instead, he pulled out a Kunai from his Ninja tool pouch and threw it at the fireball. The paper tied to the back of the Kunai flapped in the air. The Kunai accurately hit the fireball and was instantly swallowed, turning into a puddle of molten iron. However, the Exploding Tag flying in the wind behind it emitted a white light, followed by a loud explosion. Black smoke rolled forward, and all three lost sight of each other.

Ren did not dodge or avoid, charging directly into the black mist. He pulled out three Shuriken and shot them towards a certain spot. Soon after, the sound of Kunai deflecting Shuriken came from that direction. Hearing the commotion, Ryufeng immediately formed hand signs quickly, channelling Chakra towards the direction of the sound.

"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!"

Several fiery dragon heads instantly formed, rushing into the black smoke one after another. The scorching flames cleared the black smoke on the field as they advanced. At the end of the attack was Pakura.

"Damn it!"

Pakura gritted her silver teeth, retracting her Kunai while gathering several fireballs with both hands again, blasting them towards the incoming fiery dragon heads.

"Boom!"

Ryufeng's attack was intercepted in the sky. The two fire attacks collided and exploded in mid-air. The huge shockwave caused Pakura, who was close, to hurriedly leap up.

Before she could land, Ryufeng, who had bypassed the shockwave, had already rushed to her feet. Pakura immediately prepared to instantly cast a fireball to attack and ensure a safe landing.

Unexpectedly, Ryufeng did not intend to clash head-on with her. Instead, as Pakura was about to land, he looked up and met Pakura's gaze for a moment. Pakura immediately felt a momentary trance, but in less than a second, she recovered. What puzzled her was that Ryufeng did not take advantage of her momentary distraction to launch an attack. Instead, he turned and ran as if some monstrous beast was chasing him.

Suddenly, Pakura's expression changed, and she turned to look to the side, only to see Ren leaping into the air while raising his right foot high. As soon as Pakura landed, she saw Ren descending rapidly. Perhaps it was a woman's sixth sense frantically warning Pakura, who dared not be negligent and quickly formed hand signs. Just then, Ren's right foot slammed down!

Heavenly Foot of Pain!

It was another familiar scene: the crumbling earth, the splattering rocks and dirt, and the terrifying dust shockwaves continuously spreading outwards. The surrounding Ninja widened their eyes as they retreated, looking back and forth between Tsunade and Rasa's battlefield and this one.

Even the battle between Chiyo and Sakumo Hatake paused slightly, then resumed fighting fiercely. Both of them looked at the rising dust over there, a hint of surprise in their eyes, but their moods were poles apart.

This fighting style… why does it look so familiar…

Chiyo manipulated her puppets while sweeping her gaze across the other two battlefields. Seemingly understanding something, her face grew even more grim. It seemed like trouble!

Monstrous strength, huh? These two kids, well done!

Sakumo Hatake felt a wave of relief. After all, the two of them had held back Pakura, one of Sunagakure's top experts. The Konoha Ninja were already at a disadvantage on the field. If Pakura were left unchecked, the tide of the battle would shift towards the Sunagakure, possibly even leading to their defeat in this war!

You brats, well done!

Tsunade smiled slightly as she attacked. With her disciple Ren shining so brightly, she, as a teacher, also felt proud. She suppressed Rasa on the opposite side, who was momentarily in agony and had no mind to pay attention to other places.

"Cough, cough, cough!"

In the ruined crater, Pakura stood up from a broken earth wall, breathing lightly. At the last moment, she successfully used the Earth-Style Wall for defence, which blocked most of the impact force. However, because she was too close, she was still knocked to the ground by the huge impact, and a throbbing pain came from her internal organs. It seemed she had sustained internal injuries.

"Kid, what is Tsunade to you?"

Pakura gritted her teeth, looking at Ren not far away. Their identical fighting styles subconsciously linked the two together.

"Ah, she's my…"

Ren rubbed his nose, then glanced at Tsunade, who was fiercely battling in the distance, a faint smile on his lips.

"Teacher."
