He looked down at Kaira, still pressed against him.
An idea formed.
He placed his thumb on her lips gently, tracing the soft flesh.
"Want to meet my other wives?" he asked.
Kaira blinked. "...What?"
Tianlong gave her a small kiss—gentle, tender, completely different from the brutality moments ago.
Then he turned toward the gathered women.
"Prepare yourselves," he commanded. "Pack your bags. Essential items only."
The women exchanged confused glances.
Tianlong raised his hand.
Reality tore.
A doorway appeared in mid-air—a rectangular portal framed in golden light. Through it, they could see glimpses of something impossible. Gardens. Mountains. A massive palace.
"From now on," Tianlong said, "you're entering a new world."
The women's eyes widened.
"A... dimension?" one breathed.
Tianlong didn't answer. Instead, he lifted Kaira into a princess carry, making her gasp and clutch his robes.
"Come," he said simply, and walked toward the door.
He stepped through.
