Chapter 9 - The Council of Erased Realms

The Sutra flickers.

Its verses stutter, caught between existence and erasure.

Adam, Sora, and Riku are summoned to the Council, a tribunal of realms that were rewritten, overwritten, or never written at all.

They arrive in a void shaped like a courtroom.

But the judges are not people.

They are realities.

The Council

Seven seats.

Seven erased realms.

Each speaks in a different form:

The Realm of Endless War — a battlefield that never stops bleeding. The Realm of Forgotten Joy — a song no one remembers. The Realm of Unborn Stars — a sky that never learned to shine. The Realm of Broken Names — a whisper that lost its voice. The Realm of Hollow Kings — a crown with no head. The Realm of Silent Gods — a prayer that was never answered. The Realm of the First Rewrite — a mirror that reflects only lies.

They demand answers.

"Why should your world exist when ours was erased?"

The Trial

Each realm presents a case:

Sora is accused of rewriting violence into purpose. Riku is accused of turning chaos into legacy. Adam is accused of playing god.

They must defend themselves.

But not with words.

With memories.

The Defense

Sora offers his blade.

It shows every life he saved.

Riku offers his echo.

It sings every scream he silenced.

Adam offers the Sutra.

He opens it to the blank page.

He writes:

"We did not erase you. We remembered you differently."

The Council trembles.

The Verdict

Six realms vote to erase the trio.

One realm—the Realm of the First Rewrite—abstains.

Then speaks:

"You are not the end. You are the beginning."

It vanishes.

The others follow.

But not in anger.

In acceptance.

The Sutra's Evolution

The Sutra glows.

Its pages multiply.

It begins to write itself.

A new verse appears:

"The rewritten world is not theft. It is tribute."

The trio is released.

But the void remains.

And something stirs within it.
