Chapter 6 - Fight with anaconda

Pycus, the warehouse.

Inside the warehouse, popping sounds, explosions, and the roar of mutated monsters could be heard.

"It looks like reinforcements have arrived!" shouted one of the volunteers, trying to boost their morale. The remaining four responded positively. One even tried to use the transmitter, but it was still broken.

Silence...

Suddenly, the sounds outside stopped, confusing the five of them, and they froze for a moment.

Thaaa, Thaaah!!, Thaaah, THAAAAH!!!...

A loud bang sounded as the warehouse door was slammed shut. After several attempts, it was smashed open, creating a huge hole, and dust rose up everywhere.

A shadow appeared within the smoke of dust. Instantly, the shadow was revealed, revealing a young man with clear white skin, messy black hair, and prominent cheekbones.

"Omer! You're finally here!" The volunteer was delighted at the sight, and everyone was delighted.

"What's wrong with you guys! Did you miss us that much?!" Aiden appeared from behind Omar, calling out with sarcasm and a little joy at seeing them safe and sound.

Some of the volunteers sighed, and some smiled bitterly, feeling reassured by the mere appearance of Aiden and Omer, both of whom were considered radiators with superpowers.

Since the Greate Disaster, people have been classified into two categories. The first are the normals, who were unaffected by nuclear energy and have not acquired any powers or transformations. These people are extremely vulnerable to even the slightest amount of nuclear energy. This is what is supposed to be normal anyway, so they don't interact with anyone, go out often, or encounter any living creature, lest they be exposed to nuclear energy that would cause them death.

The second are the 'Radiators', who possess nuclear energy within their bodies and can easily coexist and adapt to environments with high levels of nuclear energy. In fact, they prefer such environments because the energy increases their effectiveness and strengthens their bodies.

Among the Radiators, there are two types: the first are the 'Ordinary Radiators' who do not possess supernatural powers and are the most numerous among people worldwide. The second type is those who possess supernatural powers. After the Great Disaster, a smaller group of people possessed supernatural powers. The most prominent of them are those who have had a transformation in their bodies.

For example, new organs grow or disappear, or the shape or size of parts or all of their bodies change. Sometimes, they merge with other creatures to give their bodies a new shape or add new organs. An example is Omer Al-Fahd, whose legs now possess a terrifying ability to run at breakneck speeds. The people call them 'Mutant Raditors', but there are non-mutant radiators who possess the ability to create events or control nuclear energy in various forms. Like Aiden, he has the ability to transform fire into green, nuclear-powered water that he can control as he pleases, and call them 'Controller Radiators'.

There are some people who have become mutants, but they have the ability to control nuclear energy. They are the rarest in the world and almost impossible to find.

Jelian is one of them. He is originally a mutant, and his body parts regenerate automatically as soon as something happens. However, this is limited to nuclear energy and the depth of the wound. If it's a small wound, it heals slowly and doesn't consume nuclear energy. But if it's a deep wound, such as a cut of his arms, the regeneration ability is stimulated, and he consumes a large amount of nuclear energy. This gives him nuclear power control, makes his hair white, and black circles around the eye appear as eyeliner, a testament to his ability.

In present, the volunteers are happy to see them, as they trust them in times of danger.

"As expected from the Burner! You took down that huge monster!" one of the men exclaimed happily.

"That was easy, but what huge monster? They're all small," Aiden replied, his face smug.

"Huh? Haven't you encountered a huge monster?" One of the volunteers looked worried.

"You mean the ones outside? And aren't you seven? What happened to the others?" Aiden realized the lack of volunteers.

"No, there's a monster the size of this warehouse. As we were wandering around the school, the signal from the transmitter suddenly went out. We tried to figure out what happened, but..." another of the volunteers replied, his expression grim and bitter.

"It killed them..." Aiden anticipated the sentence, his expression dark.

He immediately started moving and pulled out the transmitter. "Over, over!, Rossi!, Jelian!!, Can you hear me??!!"

Shhhh..., aa... shhhh...

Aiden heard nothing but static. He knew that what happened to the volunteers would happen to Rossi and Jelian. Despite his knowledge of Jelian's abilities, he was still worried about the situation. He had never seen him fight before, and he was even more afraid that Rossi was injured, since he didn't have a supernatural ability.

Indeed, Aiden quickly set off and left everything behind.

At the school.

From outside, he could hear the sounds of continuous crashing and dust spreading. Moments later, three shadows emerged from the cloud of dust.

It was Rossi, Jelian, and Luzia. They were running as fast as they could. Rossi was carrying Luzia on his shoulder. They all wore dark, fearful expressions.

Twaaah, taaah, taaah...

A huge white pale of anaconda appeared behind them, almost as big as the corridor itself, and was thrashing around the walls left and right.

"Jelian!! Don't you have any powers? Do something!!" Rossi shouted at Jelian.

"Do you think I'm invincible and feel no pain? This monster is so huge!!!" Jelian responded with a shout and a screech of disapproval.

Luzia was covering her head with totally afraid, and with all the movement and speed she was running, she couldn't even think about anything.

It was dark, but they were already used to it. It didn't move in a straight line, but took several turns, which helped delay the anaconda's arrival.

"We need to go to the schoolyard, there we can fight!" Rossi shouted, a conscious thought helping them out of the predicament.

"We'll split up. I'll go right, you go left!" Jelian shouted to Rossi. They were approaching the end of the corridor, and there were only two lanes.

"Okay! I'll take the girl with me. Stay alive!!!," Rossi nodded.

"You can't fight, so go and bring Aiden with you." During their escape, Jelian quickly devised a plan, knowing full well that he was the only one who could fight the anaconda chasing them. Rossi had no abilities, and Luzia's abilities weren't combat-related.

His plan was certainly to isolate Rossi and Luzia, so that by the time Aiden arrived, Jelian would have finished dealing with the anaconda.

Jelian was very careful not to let anyone see his abilities, not even anyone. In the months following the disaster, he had completely lost confidence, and the term "Aiden" had become foreign to him.

He didn't even trust Aiden—perhaps a little, but not completely—but he only went with him because of his sister Nandi's request. If anything bad happened, he wouldn't hesitate to massacre everyone in the city.

After Rossi and Jelian split up, each going in opposite directions, Anaconda didn't hesitate to pursue Jelian, and indeed headed to the right, sensing that Jelian had the highest nuclear power.

Jelian pulled out his dagger and immediately cut his hand open. Blood spurted profusely. Despite the intense pain, he was used to it and didn't even frown.

Moments later, bones, muscles, and nerves began to grow, one by one, until his hand was completely clean and free of a single scratch.

A change could be seen in Jelian's hair: the tips of his hair turned gray, then white, and were about an inch long.

From that moment, he gained increased nuclear power, increased speed, and became more flexible.

The anaconda was surprised by this change, and increased the speed of its chase and the place was getting more crowded, and it was stumbling everywhere.

The chase continued for a short time as he moved through the hallways and classrooms. He finally reached the first floor and made his way out into the schoolyard.

Jelian estimated that by this time, Rossi had left the school.

He stood up suddenly after finding a suitable spot from which to fight. He took out his dagger and machine gun and turned to face the anaconda.

Standing outside under the half-full moon, his vision became clearer. With Jelian's nuclear energy boost, his senses were greatly heightened, and he could see everything as if it were daylight.

The anaconda revealed its body. Its massive head was protruding from one of the destroyed classrooms. The head alone was so massive that it could contain almost ten times Jelian's body. It had protruding fangs as long as Rossi's.

The rest of the body could be seen scattered throughout the school, some protruding from the destroyed classrooms, and some from the windows or walls.

It's very difficult to determine the anaconda's length, but it's possible to estimate its size.

Jelian mentally prepared for battle, and both men had a look of murderous intent in their eyes.

The anaconda lunged at Jelian, but he dodged it just in time and ran around it, firing his machine gun.

Jelian wanted to find an opening to attack; his experience taught him not to attack blindly.

But all the bullets bounced off, barely making a scratch. After the anaconda's attack, it poked its head out, and it launched another attack.

Jelian sensed this and quickly fell to the ground, dodging the attack from beneath it.

Jelian continued running, his expression dark. He didn't know what to do, having never faced a monster like this before.

Meanwhile, outside the school, Rossi managed to escape.

He step out the school, and stopped at the street, he was panting heavily, but then he took a deep breath and relaxed.

"Put me down! Put me down!" Luzia screamed and began punching Rossi.

He put her down, but grabbed her by the shoulder and said, "You're coming with me."

Luzia frowned but said nothing. She didn't know that he wouldn't let her go alone, because he didn't trust her and was very wary of her, because of her ability.

They begin to walk on the street. And after a minutes, they met up with Aiden. Aiden learned what had happened and learned that Jelian was still at the school, dealing with the giant anaconda.

Aiden sighed inwardly, but didn't show it publicly, because the danger to Rossi was gone, and he wasn't worried about Jelian; he saw his ability before him

Aiden took out his transmitter, as Rossi's was out of order. He called Omer and ordered him to bring the volunteers to the school.

Rossi and Aiden then moved in, along with Luzia. Rossi refused to leave her alone, claiming the situation was dangerous and he needed to stay with them to keep her safe.

In the schoolyard.

The anaconda attacks continued several times, with Jelian dodging them each time and firing. He also tried stabbing it with the dagger, but that was unsuccessful.

He changed his ammunition every so often, and the anaconda tried to take advantage of this. The last attempt managed to injure Jelian; one of its fangs pierced Jelian's abdomen.

It raised Jelian's body high and then threw it far away, crashing into a wall. A cloud of dust rose high.

A moment later, Jelian emerged from the cloud, his wound healed quickly. This was helped by the fact that he already had high nuclear energy, which he had gained before the fight. After the injury, he gained even more nuclear energy.

He became faster, more agile, and stronger. The anaconda became enraged and began chasing Jelian. This continued until Aiden, Rossi, and Luzia arrived at the school.

They didn't want to jump into the fight without warning, so they turned around and climbed the stairs to the roof.

They could see the entire scene, watching Jelian evade the anaconda's attacks.

"Amazing! This kid is truly amazing. He can fight that huge snake all by himself," Rossi commented in amazement and admiration.

For ordinary radiators, a fight between superpowered individuals is astonishing, as if they were watching a real-life movie.

Even Aiden and Luzia were amazed by the scene before them, but as for Jelian, he was completely unaware of their presence.

After several attacks from the anaconda, Jelian dodged the final attack and had the opportunity to stab the anaconda in the eye.

The anaconda screamed so loudly that even the onlookers covered their ears.

The pain was excruciating for the anaconda, and it violently whipped its head left and right. Jelian was unable to balance himself as it held the dagger was stuck in the anaconda's eyeball.

Then it slammed its head hard against the school building, causing the walls to crush it. The strong vibrations caused the floor on which Aiden and his companions were standing to shake and shatter.

Fortunately, they were far enough away that the impacts weren't as severe as before.

In the end, the anaconda succeeded in disposing of Jelian, sending his body flying and crashing into a wall, penetrating it, leaving a large cloud of dust.

In the same time, on the school rooftop.

Omer arrived, looking out at the schoolyard and saying, "So... what did I miss?"

Luzia was surprised by his sudden appearance standing next to her. She hadn't noticed him, and she wasn't even aware that there were several men there.

"Your name is Noronha Luzia, isn't it?" Aiden turned to Luzia and asked her with interest.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, that's true."

"My friend here told me you have an ability. Can you show it to me?" Aiden was a little excited. He'd been interested in her after hearing what had happened with Rossi.

"...Okay," Luzia stood up straight, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. Her body slowly began to fade away.

Aiden and Omer saw this and were impressed, but Rossi frowned slightly instead.

"So, what do you think?" Rossi asked Aiden.

"You were right! Only those with powers can see her. Truly amazing! They can completely conceal their presence, and if you didn't concentrate well, you wouldn't even feel them when they were standing next to you!"

"Luzia, you have an amazing power." Omer was impressed and praised her with a faint smile.

"No... It's not that amazing." Luzia blushed slightly at the compliment and rubbed her head.

Baaaam!!!.

Everyone turned to the schoolyard and saw that the white anaconda had recovered. After losing her right eye, she was even more enraged.

From the clouds of dust spreading around the playground, a black shadow shot out and violently slammed into the anaconda's body, knocking her to the ground.

Aiden and the others were surprised. They couldn't understand how it happened, but they noticed that the shadow had landed on the ground, its features emerging.

The boy was dressed entirely in black, wearing a half-white, half-black jacket. His strikingly fluffy hair had a white fringe on the ends, rising from one inch (2.5 cm) to five inches (12.5 cm), if you were close, you can see a small black eyeliner on his eyes.

He was Jelian, standing up and raising his dagger, ready to fight.

The anaconda stood up and glared angrily at Jelian, and launched an attack, widening its mouth enormously.

He easily dodged the attack and jumped over the anaconda's head. After a leap, he landed with such force that he crashed to the ground.

The anaconda winced, but Jelian didn't care. He landed on the ground and punched the anaconda's head hard. Because of its size, it didn't fly far, so he continued, striking the same spot several times.

The anaconda screamed and immediately retreated.

The multiple attacks left a visible mark on the anaconda's head, so deep that a deep bruise appeared.

The anaconda became enraged and changed its fighting style. Instead of attacking, it spun and circled, lurking furiously toward Jelian.

Jelian didn't do anything yet; he didn't want to attack without knowing anything, so he prepared himself for it.

It continued to spin, completing a full circle, and at the same time, it moved slightly closer to Jelian.

Jelian was a little confused; he thought if he continued this way, he would fall into a trap.

So, he randomly attacked the body, but barely made a scratch.

Jelian continued stabbing and scratching, and as soon as the anaconda's head approached, it attacked him. He dodged and moved away, and the anaconda ignored it and continued on its way.

He hadn't noticed this, but now he realized that the anaconda had surrounded him from all sides and was very close, and the area he was standing in was getting smaller and smaller.

Before Jelian could do anything, the anaconda pounced, closing the empty space in an instant and trapping Jelian.

Using the anaconda's body, it squeezed Jelian with insanly force. If you were close, you'd hear the sound of his ribs cracking, and after a while, his breathing became more labored.

On the roof of the school, Aiden and the rest witnessed all these events, especially the moment of the pounce and the squeezing of Jelian's body.

This filled them with fear, and their expressions darkened. They realized that fighting mutant monsters, especially those as large and powerful as this one, was no easy task.

If you were just an ordinary radiator, who has no superpowers, you would be crushed worst than stepping on an ant.

Even a radiator with supernatural abilities, few can face this kind of danger.

At the same moment they were watching, the group of volunteers arrived on the roof. They could only hear a noise and a thump.

After they climbed up and saw the anaconda in its full form, they were all terrified. and some even fell, their bodies trembling.

It's not surprising. After all, they're just ordinary radiators with no combat experience, so seeing mutated monsters would be terrifying, even if they were trained.

Add to that the enormous anaconda, which had eaten some of their colleagues, right before their eyes. How could they not be terrified?

The anaconda continued to squeeze and squeeze Jelian's body, and Jelian tried as hard as he could to break free.

But it was all to no avail. The pressure of snakes is generally very strong and extremely difficult to break free from.

But suddenly, the anaconda released the pressure, letting Jelian fall to the ground. He was utterly exhausted, his bones shattered, and his entire body disfigured.

Gnawing!!!.

He couldn't even stand up and find a chance to heal himself before the anaconda devoured him. He chewed a little and then swallowed it whole.

The anaconda had eaten Jelian's body.

This sent panic and fear into the air as people on the school rooftop fainted, some trembled, or fell to the ground.

This shocked Luzia, Rossi, and Omer. He was healthy just minutes before, and now this child was just food for the giant white anaconda with one eye.

Luzia covered her mouth as tears began to fall. Her expression was filled with shock and fear, while Rossi's expression only darkened.

Suddenly, the anaconda turned its head in their direction and moved a little closer, causing panic among them. Some of the volunteers had already fled.

The anaconda moved its head toward them, and then Aiden moved and stood in front of them. He pulled out two cans and broke them, igniting green flames, but most of his body was covered in them.

Aiden wanted to protect his teammates and not put them in danger; it was his responsibility, after all.

But suddenly, the anaconda stopped moving, acting strangely, and displaying a strange expression.

Then it shook its head violently, and moments later, it felt a terrible pain and hit its head several times against the walls.

Then the floor on which Aiden and his companions were standing collapsed. Aiden ordered an immediate evacuation and the crew to get to the ground.

Aiden, Omer, and Rossi each took two people and safely landed on the ground.

"What the hell is going on?!" Rossi shouted, confused.

"It's Jelian! He's doing something!" Aiden responded.

Indeed, Jelian was slicing meat from inside the anaconda's body.

What happened was that his body was shattered to the point of chewing. However, due to the extent of the nuclear energy in Jelian's body, and because he had also entered this powerful state, his entire body recovered at an incredible speed.

Add to this a tremendous increase in his physical strength, along with his senses. His body was clearly transformed into a muscular body, resembling that of a bodybuilder.

The results included a tremendous increase in speed and strength, manifested in his muscular body and the growth of the white areas at the ends of Jelian's hair, which reached half of his hair.

After he realized he had eaten and was now inside the anaconda's body, he was overjoyed and took out two daggers, brandishing them, slicing and dicing everywhere with devastating speed and force.

He knew full well that the outer shell was tough and difficult to break, but what was inside was not.

He took full advantage of this and attacked with all his might.

The anaconda felt indescribable pain and let out a loud scream, thrashing violently around.

This caused chaos, destroying the entire school building, and the dust spread everywhere, covering everything in sight.

Jelian continued slicing through the flesh, from her head to most of her body. The anaconda's entire body was drenched in blood.

Finally, she raised her head high, spat out a sea of blood, and then rained down a dark red, foul-smelling rain.

Although Aiden and the others had moved dozens of meters away, the rain of blood reached them, and all of their clothes were drenched in the anaconda's blood.

The anaconda continued to release a fountain of blood until it finally pulled Jelian out and flew into the air.

But Jelian wasn't satisfied with that and took advantage of the free fall to launch a final attack.

Indeed, he succeeded in penetrating the anaconda's massive head. It didn't even have the energy to scream or react, as it was consumed by emptying its interior.

It finally fell to the ground.

Suddenly, the place fell silent, dust filling the vision. After a while, the rain of blood stopped.

Aiden and the others were trying to comprehend what had happened.

After the dust had cleared and the vision had cleared, they looked at each other.

Their appearance was utterly disgusting and miserable. Their bodies were covered in blood and dust, but they were fine.

They all stood and looked in the direction where they had been standing just a moment ago.

They could see a mound of stones, buildings piled high on top of each other, and on top of the high mound was the corpse of a giant white anaconda.

It was already dead, its body piled high on top of it, with the anaconda's head at the top.

And high above all this stood the man who had single-handedly defeated the giant anaconda.

The one who always stands victorious in the end.

As the dust settled and the light of the half-full moon shone in,

It presented a majestic scene filled with a powerful aura. He looked down at them coldly from above, holding two daggers in his hands, one of his feet stamping on the anaconda's head.

It was Jelian.
