Light Yagami was sitting in class. Waiting and waiting. This was his least favorite class. It was so… boring? He was staring out the window when he saw something fall. A book, maybe? Class was about to end so, maybe he could check it out.
After class, he was walking in the courtyard. Multiple girls blushing at him. He picks up the book. "Death..note?" Light mumbled under his breath. "Sounds silly" He says with a slight chuckle. Putting the book into his backpack.
When he arrives home, he opens it. "Whoevers name who is wrote in this notebook shall die?" Light says with a raised eyebrow and a slight smirk. "Thats impossible" He laughs. Light moves to turn his TV on. The news pops up. "A man has trapped a woman and three girls in this apartment!" The news woman's voice echos through the TV. Light raises an eyebrow. [should I try it out?] He thinks to himself. He opens the book and writes the suspect in the book. His watch ticked. 1..2..3. He counted each second. 20…21..22. "There's no way this is gonna work" He chuckles…His watch hits 60 seconds. "Hold on.. the women and children are running out of the building!" The news woman shrieks. "What the…" light mumbled. "He seemed to have a heart attack!" The children cried out. Light shut off the TV. "No way…" he mumbled.
He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. He slowly turned around. He screams and falls down. A shinigami! "Calm down.. I'm Ryuk" the shinigami said with a wide smile.
