Chapter 168 - Anti-Hulk Armor! Tony, You’ve Gone Too Far

Hulk was on a rampage, berserk and uncontrollable. In this city, there was no army, only the police—but even they were no match for a furious Hulk.

Fortunately, at the crucial moment, Tony Stark's Anti-Hulk Armor arrived first. It immediately formed a steel cage, firmly restraining Hulk.

Just when everyone thought Hulk was finally trapped, he broke through the ground in a bloody path, erupting from beneath the city.

By the time Tony Stark himself arrived, his standard armor wasn't designed for a giant target. Thankfully, the Anti-Hulk Armor fit over him, allowing him to confront the towering Hulk without losing ground.

This was Tony Stark's secret weapon: the Anti-Hulk Armor.

"All right, everyone, evacuate the area immediately!" Tony Stark broadcasted loudly.

Hulk, now in full rage, was furious.

"Listen to me, that woman is manipulating you!" Tony said. "You are stronger and smarter than her—you are Bruce Banner!"

Those watching the scene nodded silently. Their previous guess was confirmed: this version of Hulk wasn't his normal self.

But upon hearing Bruce Banner's name, Hulk didn't calm down—instead, he became even angrier, already holding grudges against Banner.

"Oh, right, right… don't mention little Banner!" Tony immediately realized his mistake and apologized.

But it was too late. Hulk grabbed a nearby car and hurled it at Tony, then charged forward, smashing Tony and the Anti-Hulk Armor aside.

Hulk's fighting style was brutal and raw, adrenaline-pumping in its sheer force.

"All right!" Tony recovered quickly and lunged toward Hulk.

The two titans clashed in the city, their massive movements causing widespread destruction with every punch.

Hulk slammed Tony into the ground repeatedly.

Tony could only take the hits and shout back, "You're sneaky, playing dirty, Banner!"

Against a berserk Hulk, Tony had few options. Eventually, at the cost of an arm, he managed to blast Hulk away and called out, "Veronica, give me a hand!"

Moments later, new components flew from the sky, reassembling into the armor.

Once restored, Tony piloted the colossal Anti-Hulk Armor, engaging Hulk in a brutal exchange. Each punch collided with explosive force, sending shockwaves that tore apart the surroundings.

Tony seized the opportunity to subdue Hulk with violent hypnosis, hammering blow after blow on his head to knock him out.

"Sleep… sleep… sleep!"

But a Hulk in full rage wasn't so easily controlled.

Tony tried to lead Hulk out of the city, knowing that their fight here would cause catastrophic damage.

"All right, buddy, we're taking you out of the city!" Tony commanded.

Watching this, Bruce Banner nodded silently. He understood this was the right choice—Hulk couldn't be allowed to rampage unchecked. Given enough time, Hulk could become a walking nuclear bomb.

It was clear this massive armor was likely designed specifically to counter him—Hulk—but Banner wasn't angry. He even thought it was appropriate.

Without such armor, how could one restrain a berserk Hulk?

Hulk was a huge burden; there was no joy in controlling him, only urgency.

Hulk was Hulk, and Banner was Banner—though appearing as one, they were two entirely separate beings.

So Banner's approach to Hulk was purely pragmatic: control the monster, no sentiment involved.

"All right, Bruce, cooperate a little!" Tony shouted.

Tony knew the truth: Hulk was under Wanda's control, completely unreasonable.

Earlier, Hulk had been like a child, small and still partially communicative—hence Natasha had sung him a lullaby.

Now, Hulk was a beast. Humans couldn't reason with a beast.

The fight continued—fists colliding, flesh on metal—and the audience dared not blink.

Hulk displayed terrifying destructive power, proving why the military feared him and why Lin Feng regarded him as top-tier Avengers material alongside Thor. Truly terrifying.

Even the specialized Anti-Hulk Armor couldn't fully withstand him, being torn apart in the battle.

Tony, through the armor, could briefly hold his own against Hulk—but only for a short time. The real terror remained: Hulk himself.

Hulk's physical strength was absurd, almost indestructible, while the armor could be dismantled piece by piece.

"Report the losses!" Tony commanded J.A.R.V.I.S., surveying the destroyed components. "Very thorough. Show me everything!"

Tony had no choice but to summon replacement parts midair, but Hulk reacted faster, swatting them away.

Tony had to carry them himself, avoiding a fall to the ground.

The battle was fully under Hulk's control.

Tony spotted an unfinished building ahead. Scanning it, he found no signs of life and made a decisive call.

"How fast can I buy this building?" he muttered.

The SHIELD agents outside the scene were speechless. They now understood why Lin Feng said Tony was excessively wealthy.

Ordinary people toil a lifetime to afford a home, while Tony could destroy a building in an instant just to deal with Hulk.

Such wealth made friendship… challenging.

In a blink, the Anti-Hulk Armor hurled Hulk from above, crashing him into the building and smashing it to pieces, sending up a terrifying cloud of dust.

After this devastating strike, Hulk began to regain composure, confused about his location—Wanda's chaos magic clearly had a time limit.

He saw the terrified, helpless crowd and the approaching military.

As he roared to continue his rampage, the Anti-Hulk Armor's massive fist struck him squarely on the head, knocking him out cold.

"You just called Batman crazy… now I think you and Batman are pretty similar—both crazy," Hawkeye Barton muttered.

He wanted to curse the capitalist, but this was a money-driven world.

Tony rubbed his nose, realizing even he had limits. He was wealthy but not so much as to treat a building as meaningless—even in a developing country, a building's value was considerable.

But in critical moments, sometimes money simply decided outcomes.

"Hulk is still too dangerous. We must find a way to restrain him," Natasha said.

Everyone nodded. Indeed, Hulk's rampage demonstrated just how destructive he could be—a walking time bomb.

Yet Hulk was also an essential asset. Without him, the Avengers' combat capability would drop a tier.

Hence the Anti-Hulk Armor: designed for a massive target, with height, strength, and modular components optimized for Hulk.

Banner sighed, recalling why he had stayed in the slums before: to avoid military detection. If Hulk lost control, chaos would follow.

Now, staying at SHIELD HQ, with research and support available, any uncontrollable outbreak could be immediately handled—a near-ideal situation.

"Tony, this Anti-Hulk Armor isn't strong enough. Ordinary metals can't withstand Hulk's brute force," Banner advised. "Use Adamantium or Vibranium. I've heard of them—unaffordable for me, but you could manage, right?"

Banner wasn't angry; he was offering practical advice, leaving Tony speechless and slightly guilty.

"I'll consider it. But that armor was probably the best I could make at the time. Still, it couldn't stop Hulk completely," Tony admitted, shuddering at the memory.
