Chapter TextThe sounds of weapons clashing echo throughout the dark throne room. A fight has erupted between the demon king and a singular woman who had been bold to challenge him. The Demon King was taken aback by the woman's brazenness to challenge him by her lonesome self. The woman was Tessa Atelier, a self-proclaimed hero that sought to rid the land of the Demon King and bring peace back to it.

He looked at where the pain was originating from and saw blood dripping from a large gash. A small laugh could be heard behind him. "That'd be right. Tessa here asked for the land and castle that the Demon King held onto. So, while we gotta do a bit of house cleaning once we arrive, we'll be set to live there as well as use it for a base of operations in between quests." Jenny adds in, repeating what Tessa had told her earlier in the day. Ren was both excited and worried at the idea that they'd be living where the Demon King stayed, but she also realizes that what Jenny said was true, once they cleaned out the demons then everything should be fine. Scratching her head, she looks back towards the two.
"It'll be nice to live the highlife for once. When are we planning to storm the castle and do some spring cleaning?" Tessa was going to respond to this, but the chill ran through her once again.
"I was hoping to start making the trip back tomorrow. There were several demons that had been left in the castle, best if we take them out now. Before they have a chance to bolster their numbers." Tessa was talking in a more serious tone suddenly, Jenny and Ren look at her with puzzled expressions.
