Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 9

---

Dave walked her to her room. "Good night," he said softly before leaning in and pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Good night," Mirabel whispered back, watching him walk away. Her heart was racing, pounding so hard it almost hurt.

She quickly ran inside, shutting the door behind her. Throwing herself onto the bed, she hugged her pillow tightly, a wide smile spreading across her face. Just then, Tracy walked in and caught her.

"What's going on? Why are you smiling like that?" Tracy asked, suspicious but amused.

Mirabel quickly sat up. "Nothing!"

"Don't lie. Tell me, I'm dying to know what's making you this happy."

Mirabel hesitated, then asked, "If your heart beats fast and your face turns pink… what does it mean?"

Tracy smiled knowingly and touched her cheek. "It means you're in love, silly. But with who?"

Mirabel's eyes widened and she quickly looked away. In love? Am I really in love? she thought, feeling a strange warmth inside her. Tracy shook her lightly to bring her back to reality, but Mirabel only muttered, "Never mind."

"Fine, you don't have to tell me now. But someday, you will," Tracy teased with a grin.

Lucian's POV – Next Day

Lucian's phone call ended in pure rage. He slammed it down and growled at Marcelo, "Bring me Angelica. Now."

Minutes later, Angelica walked in, her smile sly. "You called for me, Lucy?"

"Yes," Lucian replied coldly.

She closed the distance between them, grabbing his shirt to pull herself close. Her lips hovered near his, but he didn't kiss easily. Instead, she slid her hand down, unzipping his trousers, her fingers caressing his growing hardness. Lucian groaned, his control slipping.

She dropped to her knees, taking him into her mouth, sucking deeply until his groans filled the room. His hand tangled in her hair, forcing her head up and down, his length hitting the back of her throat. Angelica moaned around him, hungry for more.

Lucian finally yanked her up and threw her onto the bed, spreading her legs wide. "Fuck me already!" she begged, panting.

Without mercy, he pushed into her, filling her completely. Her cries filled the air—"Harder, harder!"—and Lucian's thrusts grew rougher, his body pounding into hers until sweat dripped from his skin.

Moments later, duty called—an emergency at the office. He left without a word, leaving Angelica breathless and trembling on the sheets.

The next day

Meanwhile, Mirabel was walking down the hall, thinking of Tracy, when she spotted Dave in the distance. She quickly fixed her hair, hoping he wouldn't notice. But Dave laughed softly when he caught her effort.

"Good morning," he greeted warmly.

"Good morning, Dave," she said, blushing.

"How was your night?"

"Good," she replied quickly.

"Would you like to go out on a date with me today?" he asked without hesitation.

Her heart skipped. "Um…" she brushed her hair nervously, then smiled. "Okay."

"Perfect. One o'clock sharp," Dave said with confidence before walking away.

The moment he left, Mirabel rushed to Tracy's room. "Do you have any spare clothes I can wear on a date?" she squealed, grabbing her hand.

Tracy's eyes widened. "A date? With who? Tell me!"

"It's a secret! Just help me, please!" Mirabel begged.

"When is it?"

"One sharp!"

Tracy laughed. "Relax, you still have two hours. Let's eat first."

After they ate, Tracy pulled out a hidden dinner gown. "Do you like it?"

Mirabel's eyes sparkled. "I love it! Don't tell me you've been hiding this from me all along?"

"I bought it and saved it for the right moment," Tracy said proudly.

Mirabel slipped into the gown, her hair loose around her shoulders. Just as she was about to leave, Tracy stopped her. "Wait, you forgot something."

"What? I'm late already!"

"Your makeup." Tracy applied it carefully, brushing her cheeks with color, finishing with soft lips.

Mirabel looked at herself in the mirror and gasped. "Wow… I look beautiful." She kissed Tracy on the cheek. "Thank you!"
