I was more than shocked when I heard what had happened. How could he? I thought about it, remembering everything that she had done to him all this while. First of all she had escaped from him with his brother, and she had tried to instigate other Alphas against him not to join his cause, but here she was, yet again at the Pack.
When I heard that Hazel had returned I was more than hurt because nobody knew where this was going. I knew he still wanted her. Yes, he had sent several troops to capture her and bring her back and even though he was enraged when they didn't succeed, I knew he still wanted her more than anything else.
And that was why I had to do something about it. She had to be put out of the picture if my own plans and dreams with Liam was ever going tocome through. I wasn't going to let her take what was meant to be mine no matter what. My heart was beating so fast with anticipation and resentment when I got to the Packhouse.
