Colton's POV
I sat in the council chamber, my head spinning. The revelation of my brother's treachery had left me reeling, and I was unsure how to proceed. I turned to Hazel, who was sitting beside me, her face a mask of concern.
"What should I do?" I asked, my voice trembling.
"You must take back what is rightfully yours," she replied, her voice firm and resolute. "You are the rightful king, and it is your duty to defend your people. Liam has betrayed them all, and he must be stopped."
I felt a surge of determination rise within me.
Although I had always been a kind and gentle person, I knew that hazel was right. I could not let my weakness hold me back from taking action.I had to do what was right, no matter how difficult it might be. And with Hazel by my side, I knew that I could face anything.
I rose from my seat, a new sense of strength coursing through me.
