Chapter 1 – Hatake Yusuke
Hatake Yusuke stared at the silver-haired boy standing in front of him—his younger brother in this life.
Yes, you heard that right. He had reincarnated.
In his previous life, he was just your average otaku from a major country in the 21st century. Like any ordinary day, he was about to watch an episode of his favorite anime—One Piece—on his computer. It was his all-time favorite series. But just as he pressed play, a sudden power surge caused a short circuit... and zap—he was electrocuted to death.
A tragically dramatic ending.
But strangely enough, he wasn't reborn in the world of One Piece. Instead, he woke up in the world of another favorite series—Naruto. And the real kicker? He was born as the older brother of none other than the legendary "Hatake 50:50" himself—Hatake Kakashi.
Honestly, having a brother like that was pure mental pressure.
Young Kakashi was a genius beyond reason. Even Kishimoto's golden child, Uchiha Itachi, couldn't compare to this prodigy's potential.
Graduated from the academy at age four, promoted to Chūnin at six, and became a Jōnin at just twelve.
Sigh...
Yusuke let out a long, defeated sigh, his face filled with despair.
Sure, he had talent too. But compared to his absurdly gifted little brother, his own shine felt dim in comparison.
And when he thought about the future—where Kage-level powerhouses would be popping up left and right, and Jōnin would be seen as mere foot soldiers—it made him want to scream. His handsome face, which looked suspiciously like Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen, was clouded with gloom.
"Hatake Yusuke! Stand up this instant!"
A sharp voice snapped him out of his thoughts. With a lazy groan, Yusuke rose from his seat.
His half-dead eyes turned toward his teacher, Iburah-sensei, who could only sigh at this problem child.
But what could he do? Yusuke's talent wasn't something to scoff at.
"Fine, sit down. But at least try to pay attention."
"Yes, Sensei..." Yusuke replied with a sluggish nod.
And just like that, another mundane school moment passed.
When class ended, Yusuke slung an arm around Kakashi's shoulder as they walked home. Kakashi glanced at his brother with a complicated look. Though Yusuke was technically older by a few minutes, his attitude was… well, lacking. Lazy and unmotivated.
To others, it might seem like Yusuke wasn't that talented. But Kakashi knew the truth—when it came to raw potential, his brother might actually surpass him.
Then again, could you really blame Yusuke? He used to be an average human from the 21st century, not some battle-hardened shinobi. If it weren't for his cheat-level talent, he'd probably have ended up like dried fish on a sidewalk.
When they arrived home, the warm aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air. Their father, Hatake Sakumo, had prepared dinner.
That was rare. As the head of an ANBU squad and one of the village's top powerhouses, Sakumo was almost never home.
Usually, Yusuke did the cooking. As a former otaku, of course he knew how to cook—and his food was pretty good, too.
During dinner, Kakashi suddenly spoke up.
"Father, I want to graduate from the academy. I feel like there's nothing left for me to learn there."
Sakumo paused, then nodded. "Alright." He trusted his sons—if they made a decision, there was always a reason behind it.
He turned to Yusuke. "What about you? Are you planning to graduate too?"
Just as Yusuke was about to answer, a voice echoed inside his mind:
[Ding!]
[Storyline detected. System successfully initialized]
[Mission: Graduate early. Reward: One Random Devil Fruit]
His heart almost jumped out of his chest. Finally! His golden finger has arrived!

"Yusuke?"
Sakumo's voice brought him back to reality.
"Ah! Yeah, I'm graduating too," Yusuke said quickly.
Sakumo could only sigh at his carefree son. Yusuke promptly excused himself and returned to his room.
"System, are you there?"
[Present, Host.]
"Do I get a starter pack?"
[Starter Pack has been delivered to your inventory. Please check.]
"How do I check my inventory?"
[Simply think the word 'Open'.]
"Open."
[Ding!]
[Congratulations, you've received:]

"WOOOOAH!! I'm finally rising up!!" Yusuke shouted, his face full of devious excitement.

As Yusuke celebrated, the system's cold voice continued echoing in his mind.

The next day, Yusuke and Kakashi headed straight to the teacher's office.
"Iburah-sensei, Kakashi and I would like to graduate early," Yusuke said confidently.
Iburah looked shocked, but after a moment, he nodded. It wasn't too surprising—both boys had long since surpassed the average student.
"Alright, but I'll have to report it to the Hokage first," he replied.
"Thank you, Sensei." Yusuke gave a small bow, then pulled Kakashi away.
As they returned to class, a voice called out to them.
It was Uchiha Obito—the future antagonist, though for now, just an overly emotional classmate.
Yusuke approached him. "What's up, Obito?"
"Yusuke! Where have you been?!"
"Oh, nothing big. Just told the teacher that we're graduating early," he replied casually.
"Whaaat?!"
Obito's face twisted in disbelief.
"Well, there's not much of a challenge here anymore," Yusuke shrugged.
"That means... I'm the only one left in the 'Twin Swords'..." Obito mumbled, clearly sulking.
Yusuke gave a wry smile.
Obito had jokingly started calling them the "Twin Swords" after getting teased by other students. Yusuke was always asleep in class, and Obito was always falling behind. A hopeless duo.
But despite that, Obito wore the nickname with pride. He even dreamed that someday, the two of them would become a legendary pair on the battlefield.
Yusuke could only sigh internally.
"Man... what an optimistic kid."
