Chapter 3 - Return back to normal life

Peter had to wait for Atlas to wake up for three whole days, Peter spend the next three days walking around the tiny workshop. Atlas wasn't staying at his workshop so there wasn't any food to eat so Peter had to starve for those three days, but he didn't have a problem with starving himself. He went without food on many solo military trips. Ding. {Broke loser do you want food, oh wait you haven't even been outside}. Peter knew the system would continue calling him names so when his system screen appeared without him opening it, he would just close it again. Peter whispered "System leave me alone". Peter spend the nights sleeping on the cold hard concrete floor, his dreams were full of nightmares. He always dreamt about his wife and his oldest son,who disappeared when Atlas was still young. Atlas finally awoken after the three days were over, he slowly opened his eyes and took in the familiar surroundings. Peter placed his hand on Atlas's hand and said "I am glad you are finally awake my son, you were out for three whole days. A piece of the giant rock broke off and it went straight for you, you were struck on the head.". Atlas looked at his father and said "Three days... How is the situation outside?". His father said "I haven't been outside yet, I was waiting for you to wake up. You must say "open system" to open your system window". Atlas said "Open system". Ding. {Stat window of the hero of the land}. {Name: Legendary hero Atlas Vortex}. {Species: Can't say yet, but half human}. {Current condition: Stable, but sleepy}. {HP 100/100, would have given a higher HP but 100 was already the highest}. {MP 100/100, Atlas can use magic infinitely}. {Strength:4}. {Agility:4}. {Stamina:4}. {Intelligence:4, low but Atlas can use spells even if MP is 1 but spell costs 10 MP}. {Current level:1, infinite room for growth}. {Available ability points: none, Atlas does not gain ability points, but every time he levels up +5 ability points get added to each of his stats}. {Skills list: Sleeping level 1, Walking level 1, Breathing level 1, Death stare level 1}. {You have one unread message legendary hero Atlas Vortex}. Atlas said "Open unread message". Ding. {Hello legendary hero Atlas Vortex, I'm truely sorry that you got knocked out by that giant rock in the sky. I couldn't stop it in time, please forgive me. You have been granted a hidden quest}. Atlas said "Show me the hidden quest". Peter shook his head in disbelief and whispered "Hidden quest?". Ding. {I wasn't speaking to you hero of losers, go away Peter}. Ding. {Hidden quest: Return home legendary hero Atlas}. {Reward: +5 ability points in every one of your stats, a forcefield around the world returning it to its original state for three months, monster slayer sword +30 strength}. {Time limit: None}. {Penalty upon failure: None}. Atlas couldn't believe his eyes, he didn't expect to get any good news after that giant rock threatened to end all life. What he was seeing now was a dream come true, he didn't have to be a mechanic anymore. Atlas walked towards the steel door and opened it slowly to see how the situation outside was, Peter stood next to Atlas. As Atlas opened the door a small monster with green eyes was infront of Atlas, it was the size of Atlas's foot. The monster was green and had a deformed body, the words abomination appeared above it's head. Atlas lifted his boot and stepped on the abomination. Ding. {Legendary hero you have leveled up}. {Stat window of the hero of the land}. {Name: Legendary hero Atlas Vortex}. {Species: Not sure, but half human}. {Current condition: Super stable}. {HP 250/250}. {MP 250/250}. {Strength:9}. {Agility:9}. {Intelligence:9}. {Current level: 2, Atlas can't kill abominations anymore there will be no experience points awarded}. {Skills list: Sleeping level 1 (51.9%), Walking level 1 (56.9%), Breathing level 5 (98.7%), Death Stare level 1 (98.9%), Stepping level 1}. Atlas and Peter continued to walk the familiar streets of South Texas, they didn't encounter any more monsters except abominations. Atlas and Peter finally reached their flat.
