(Volume IX: The Chronicle of Remembrance and the Immortal's Song)
(Don't ask why the volume title sounds serious. The volume thing from start isn't from the original author—it was made by me (TL). I just create Volumes to make organizing chapters easier, whether I want them to be serious or not.)
(I Chop some scenes because I was embarrassed by my own writing, Not gonna lie, I have no idea how to write (good) smut, so I just added them as summaries.)
The morning sun cast a pale light on Mo Wang's face. He lay in bed, his expression serene, like a sage who had finally seen through the mysteries of the universe.
"I... I finally understand," he whispered, his voice filled with a newfound, almost spiritual clarity.
He looked at the white-haired girl sleeping soundly beside him, her silver hair fanned out across the pillow. His mind was as clear as freshly fallen snow.
"Ten times a day... is only possible in manga and H-games."
He had no idea what day it was. Time had lost all meaning since he and Kiana had unofficially started their summer vacation cohabitation.
He glanced around the room—a warzone of discarded snack bags, game controllers, and clothes—and shook his head with a weary sigh.
"Damn it... has it really been a month? How am I still alive?"
He reached over to his desk and picked up a small, leather-bound diary.
Tuesday, July 3rd
Summer vacation has officially begun. Kiana, worn out from a string of recent missions and the chaotic aftermath of our 'public announcement,' could no longer contain her desires. We fought from noon until late at night. It was a grueling battle, but in the end, I was victorious.
Wednesday, July 4th
Kiana, ever the sore loser, was determined to have a rematch. The little white-haired Tuna is far too confident in her stamina. She actually dared to say that she would pin me to the ground today. Heh, she has no idea of the true power of the body I inherited from Caesar. Today, we fought from morning until night. And in the end, I was victorious.
Wednesday, July 11th
After a week of intense combat, the little white-haired Kiana has finally surrendered. I am quite satisfied. However, I've noticed that our perception of time has become... distorted.
Thursday, July 12th
We've finally entered a normal summer vacation routine. We spent the day playing video games. The foolish little Kiana actually thought she could beat me. As if! I am a gaming god! I crushed her, of course. She was so cute when she cried. Especially since she was only wearing my shirt, with no underwear. What happened after that? When I came to, it was late at night again.
Friday, July 13th
Kiana learning to cook is so cute!
...It's late at night again.
Saturday, July 14th
Kiana dressed as a cat is so cute.
...It's late at night again.
Sunday, July 15th
Kiana was unusually feisty today. Her eyes even turned golden for a moment. But she was still so cute.
...When I came to, it was the next day.
Monday, July 16th
Mo Wang, you cannot continue this decadent lifestyle! You are the man who will save the world! Tomorrow, you must get back on track!
Kiana is so cute!
Sunday, July 29th
I've been feeling a little weak lately. I've even lost to Kiana in video games a few times. I've started taking some goji berries and mulberry to see if it helps. I've also prepared some Liuwei Dihuang pills and ginseng. The effects are quite potent. This time, we fought until noon the next day...
He closed the diary and popped a handful of goji berries, mulberry, and ginseng into his mouth, chewing them thoughtfully before washing them down with a swig of hot water.
"So... this is my limit as a human?" he wondered aloud.
Looking at Kiana's sleeping form, a small smile touched his lips.
It had been a crazy month... but considering how it started, he supposed this was a better outcome.
After Kiana had so boldly announced their relationship in the group chat, St. Freya had descended into chaos. The aftermath had been less of a celebration and more of a witch hunt—with Kiana as the witch.
She'd been dragged into a mock trial by an enraged Wendy and emotionless Bronya, with Mei presiding over it all with a terrifyingly sweet smile.
The interrogation had been brutal, and Kiana's reputation had hit rock bottom. When Mei's gentle but piercing questions had made Kiana feel genuinely misunderstood, she had almost burst into tears.
That was when she'd played her trump card, declaring herself the "Empress" and summoning her "husband" as a shield.
He'd arrived just in time to save her from soo called 'public execution'.
While their relationship was now officially, if begrudgingly, accepted, Kiana had found herself a pariah.
To escape the constant plotting of her supposed friends—who she was convinced were scheming to become his "concubines" and overthrow her —she'd declared his dorm her new Imperial Palace and had taken permanent refuge here.
"Well, at least she's safe from another interrogation," he mused.
BEEP! BEEP!
The sudden shrill of his phone cut through the morning quiet. He glanced at the screen.
"An emergency meeting? All St. Freya high-ranking personnel must attend?"
"Why am I getting this?" he grumbled. "I'm not high-ranking! And I'm on vacation!"
He was about to ignore it, but then a chilling thought crossed his mind. If he didn't go, Theresa, in her infinite wisdom, might come looking for him. Here. And find Kiana in his bed. Their debauchery cohabitation was still technically a secret from the faculty.
"No choice, I guess," he sighed, carefully extricating himself from the sheets. He tiptoed over to the bed and planted a soft kiss on Kiana's cheek.
"Hehe, score!"
The moment the door clicked shut, the sleeping girl's eyes snapped open. Her cheeks were flushed a deep, indignant red.
"Damn it! Pervert! Bastard! Are those two insane?!" 'Kiana' shrieked, wiping the faint trace of drool from the corner of her mouth.
Her eyes were not their usual sky blue, but a brilliant, furious gold. It was not Kiana, but her Herrscher personality, Sirin.
"Do those two have any concept of moderation?!" she grumbled, glaring at the absolute disaster zone that was the room. The lingering ache in her lower back was a constant, humiliating reminder of their... activities.
If she could, she would strangle them both.
"Hiss~ doesn't that madman know the meaning of the word 'gentle'? And how does Kiana even endure it?"
She gritted her teeth and, with a resigned sigh, began to channel her Honkai energy, directing it to heal Kiana's overworked body. It was the only way to ensure the girl would be able to get out of bed tomorrow. She wasn't doing it out of kindness, of course. She was doing it for her own survival.
"Does he really find this so enjoyable? To this extent, every single day?" she wondered, a shudder running down her spine as she remembered the one time she had taken over Kiana's body to try and stop him. He had only gotten more excited. She had genuinely thought she was going to die.
"No, if this continues, I'm going to die for real!"
She had to do something. Killing him was out of the question; he was a monster on a whole other level. Her gaze fell upon Kiana's phone, discarded on the nightstand.
An idea, brilliant and devious, sparked in her mind.
"If... if I can get Kiana's friends to fall for him... then Kiana will get jealous and leave him, right? And then I can finally get some rest!"
"I'm a genius! Hahahaha!"
And with that, Herrscher Kiana, in a desperate bid for self-preservation, began to scroll through her 'own' contact list, a malicious grin spreading across her face as she prepared to call her best friends, one by one.
