Grignard: "Ballerina, hold on tight. They're coming. Grip my hand, and I'll carry you both to the Alpha… No time to waste. Rest if you wish, but the choice is yours."

The air suddenly grew heavy as the sound of footsteps echoed closer. Cedrick, half-hidden beneath Ballerina's long coat, caught sight of them from the corner of his eye—dark, ghastly creatures emerging from the shadows. Their figures were twisted, with unnaturally long limbs and jagged horns crowning their heads. They moved as though they had no bones, slipping through barriers as if the world itself bent to their will.

They slaughtered without mercy. Cedrick's heart clenched as he saw them tear apart the old wolf he once visited to hear stories of forgotten times—then his innocent daughter, her cries cut short in the night. Three lives had already been stolen before Cedrick's eyes, each death a fresh wound carved into his soul.

Ballerina tightened her grip on Grignard's shoulder. With a powerful thrust of his colossal wings, the giant hybrid lifted them into the stormy sky.

Cedrick: "Aunt… is Grignard a hybrid? He's enormous!"

Ballerina: "Yes, my dear. He is the strongest of them all. His father was once your grandfather's most loyal ally…"
