Chapter 13 - Fighting Bane and Clayface.

"Vixen, this is a slave deal. They have hundreds of children in the basement. I am down here looking for Black Canary." I radioed in as I kept walking until I noticed two Owl Minions guarding a door. Two female screams came out; one was Black Canary. Walking towards the door, I was stopped as the two guards shook their heads no.

"Sorry, my bad," I said, acting dumb as they stood in front of me, only for me to grab them by the throats and freeze their bodies before dropping them, making them shatter on the floor as I picked up the keys. I unlocked the door and walked inside, seeing two owl minions and two faces I was hoping not to run into.

My hands were behind my back as I walked in, seeing Black Canary and Katana, also known as Tatsu Yamashiro. "You aren't supposed to be here," Bane said, making me smile as I walked close about ten feet away before stomping the ground as ice quickly spread towards the group of men, the two owl minons who were faster and jumped into the air, only for me to swing two ice swords out, shooting icicles at them, hitting them as they fell to the ground. Bane was able to jump in time, but Clayface had his feet frozen and broke them off.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" Bane roared out as he juiced himself up, and I changed my body to take the form of Sub-Zero with his mask on as I spoke. "They call me Sub-Zero," I said in his voice, making Black Canary smile as she watched me. She was bleeding from her mouth, making me somewhat angry, but I couldn't lose myself to it.

Bane rushed me, but I ice slide towards Clayface, as he was the easiest one for me to take care of. Clayface changed his fist into that of a hammer and swung down, making me create an ice clone and backstep as it smashed into the ground, and I placed my hand onto Clayface's arm, freezing it rapidly, only for him to break it off at the shoulder as I heard a roar from behind me.

I stomped onto the ground, making an ice wall between me and Bane, and slid out to the side, dodging a punch by Clayface as Bane broke through, only to be met with Clayface's punch, sending him flying. I was now to the side of Clayface, putting both of my hands on him, and started to freeze his upper body faster than before, so he wouldn't break off a part.

In less than five seconds, he was completely frozen, and it was now just me and Bane who had picked himself up off the ground. Reforming a sword as I rushed him sliding in front of him as he swung I made an ice clone and back stepped letting him bust his hand onto it while I spun and cut his leg sending blood flying and I froze it making another blade as I stabbed it into his back and swung the first blade cutting his tubes on his back.

Cutting off his Venom, making him stumble as I froze him up to his neck, and sighed. I am happy I put points in my other stats, as it made my movements a lot better this time around. I walked over to Black Canary and Katana, freezing their chains and then breaking them as I caught them both in one arm as they fell forward.

"You came for me." Black Canary said, making me sit them down as I rubbed her cheek. "Of course, the moment I heard they lost track of you. I couldn't just sit back and let the others save you." I said before I started to heal them both. Looking at the Energy I had left, I had about 65% left.

"Vixen, I have Black Canary and another woman. Bane and Clayface are both out of the fight." I said, making a sigh come over the radio. "Okay, back up with me here in five minutes. Don't do anything." She said, but I wanted to heal the children. "Can I at least heal the children? Some of them looked rough," I said.

I didn't want to miss the Good Act points as Vixen spoke. "Fine, but keep everyone down there and don't move them. Once fighting happens, it will be harder to protect them." She said over the radio. "Let's go, ladies, I need to heal the children," I said as Black Canary nodded and Katana kept quiet.

We walked out and into the storage area as Black Canary and Katana got the children out of the cages, and I had started to heal them. The system was going off crazy. By the time I was done, I had about 30% of my Energy left, and explosions could be heard from above. "Looks like the fun started." Black Canary said as she looked at me. "Both of you can go, I will keep watch over the children," I said, making them nod as they ran off.

I sat near the children singing a song from my last life. As time went by, I didn't want to put them in harm's way, and the villains wouldn't try to move this many children while being attacked, so they would most likely ditch them and try to flee. I did my part of the mission, freeing Black Canary and ensuring her well-being. I didn't want to draw more attention than I needed to.

About ten minutes went by until the fighting stopped, and I heard footsteps coming down stairs as I made two ice swords and coated them in icicles as I spoke. "Kids, get behind me," I said as I heard clapping from the stairwell, and a blonde woman with a white uniform smiled at me. "That's what a man should be, Black Canary wasn't lying that you are somewhat impressive." The woman said.

"I am called Power Girl. It's nice to meet you, Sub-Zero." She said, walking towards me as I broke the swords, and she held out a hand, and I shook it. "We will help with getting the kids back to their homes." A voice said from the shadows, and I looked over to see Batman, and I nodded. "Thank you, Batman," I said.

"I have been thinking, and I believe you should join the Young Justice League or at least do missions with them. You need training, and I feel that would fit you best." He said, making me think for a moment before speaking. "Do I need to move out of the Clocktower? I enjoy living with them." I said, making him shake his head no. "They can teleport you for missions to the Young Justice League's HQ." He said, then I nodded.

"Very well, I don't mind it. I need a place to train for fighting. I can handle people with my powers alone, but I would much rather have a somewhat equal power level between them." I said as he nodded, and more people started to come down. Lucky for me, it was mostly the Bat family and no mind readers.

We started to move the kids above ground as I watched everything happening until it was done. The girls and I began to make our way back to the Clocktower, as I was tired from my first real mission, but was happy it went off without a problem.
