Chapter 57 - chapter 57

Azaroth tells them to shut up so that they can continue their plans, as he feels like another divine piece is around.

"Around here?, Really?" Seong asked as he didn't believe Azorath's words.

"Yes, every divine piece can feel each other's presence, at least to some extent."

"But the fact that the other divine piece didn't make a move probably means that they are too weak to even notice my presence."

"So, what do we do then?" Grehas asked.

Azorath glanced at the rat king as he asked him:

"Marouce."

"Yes, lord?"

"Take care of the divine piece"

"How do you want it to be done?" he replied.

"Look into every house in the kingdom for anyone who has awakened and take them as criminals and either force them to call out their true identity if they are the divine piece or just kill them and take their Sparks out of their bodies," he said with an indifferent tone.

"I will send my best soldiers to get it done, lord Azorath," Marouce said confidently.

"Heartless bastard," Darca thought as he suddenly felt the man's gaze upon him. His body froze as his overwhelming power stopped him from moving even a centimetre.

!?

"Darca, next time you insult me, I won't let you live to see tomorrow," Azorath said with a menacing look on his face, freezing Darca in place.

"I-i understand."

Azorath also tells Darca to stay and help him on the mission, which he understands.

"Report to me when the task is done."

"Yes, lord." They all aid in unison as Azaroth vanishes into thin air. Grehas follows as she manifests a door-like light in front of her before walking through it and disappearing.

"Good luck, Marouce", Naomi says as she cuts space by swinging her arm in front of her in a claw motion, creating a red space as she leaves by walking through it.

The heavenly demon comments on how he finds Azaroth creepy sometimes before swinging his sword in the room, creating a rift of energy and walking through it, and it closes up behind him.

"Darca, let's prepare to find the holder of the divine piece."

"Right," Darca replied as he left the throne room.
