Their conversation lasted a lot of time as Laura, Pierrot, Jill, Lylia and Clad were talking about taking the rat king down. Meanwhile, Adonis was waiting outside as he felt that he needed time to cool down due to the alcohol he had drunk earlier, and Swan stepped out as well.
"What's up?" he said, looking slightly fatigued, sitting on the ground.
"Drank too much, huh?" Swan replied.
"I probably did, yeah."
The two exchanged in a conversation as Swan talked about how the rat king kidnapped and sold his wife to a foreign place with a bunch of other people and kids. And he tells Adonis that he is going to defeat the rat king and try to find his Wife, which Adonis hopes he succeeds in.

Meanwhile, in Rat King's slave camp, there stood two of his new slaves, both were elven women who were recently taken in. The room was dark with stone walls and multiple bunk beds, with two guards standing in front of the door that led to the outside of the place
"Melirit, I am so grateful that you are still alive."
"Feaina, I am grateful that you are still alive", Melirith replied as the two embraced each other.
"Honey, I truly hope that we both get out of this hell together. And I will give you a proper wedding gift too, as we do."
"Feaina, my greatest wedding gift is you."

"Melirit!!" Feaina said as tears of joy came to her eyes, but their romantic conversation was cut short as one of the two guards opened the doors, shouting at them.
"Get up, you romantics, it's your guy's turn to serve the king!"
"Get here and deliver him the food as usual!" The guard shouted as he took both of them out of their room
As the two made their way to the king's throne room, it is shown that the rat king is getting served food by human and non-human slaves before he complains about the food and kills one of the two elf slaves using a magic spell, piercing through her head on impact.
"..."
"Huh?"
"What just happened? I thought the food would be alright!"
"Why did he do this!?" Feaina thought as her anger rose, but she couldn't bring herself to attack him, as she knew that she would die if she did such a thing, so she cried in silence as she stood firm next to her lover's dead body.
The rat king silently stared at her for a few seconds before telling the guards to send her and the corpse off, as he didn't feel hungry anymore.
Sigh...
"Stupid elves, can't cook meat for nothing..."
