(Around 20 years ago, at the House of the Flower sword clan(Kingdom of Hishcadel)
When Clad was young, he had two siblings, Rin and Shin. The three of them were under a group called the Divine Flower clan. The trio was known for barely training and playing around instead of learning the clan's martial art, the flower sword art. But for some reason, they always showed incredible levels of sword skills for their age.
Clad enjoyed his training sessions with his siblings as they were very joyful, and he often showed them how he could move flowers and make them grow faster, which impressed them a lot.
"Wow, so cool!" both of them shouted in excitement at seeing Clad rapidly grow a flower from the ground, making it bloom within seconds.
"Brother, you have to teach us this trick!" Shin said with sparkling eyes.
"Me too, brother me too!" Rin added.
The young Clad had a smug look on his face. He felt cool, amazing, great even as he looked up while pinching his chin.
"Hehehe, sorry, younger siblings, but this is my secret technique and I can't share it with anyone!" he said, full of himself.
"Aw, come on! Please!" Rin says as she tries her best attempt at doing a sad dog face.
"Y-you're not going to get me with this like last time!" He said as he tried to resist her, with cute puppy eyes.
"A-alright, stop looking at me like that! I'll tell you guys my secret move!" Clad says, as he silently sighs.
Shin taps Rin's shoulder as a sign to tell her that she did a good job of peer pressuring him into saying his secret move, and they both smirk at each other with malicious grins before Clad interrupts them.
"Alright, so to do my secret, you will have to-" As he was about to share his secret move, Clad was interrupted by someone. A tall man with long dark cherry red hair, pale skin, and pink eyes and wearing a white eastern-style dress with silver shoulderpads and a pink cloth that went around his clothing, shouted.
"What are you guys doing here!" The man shouted with his piercing voice, sending shockwaves through the three's bodies.
"Uh oh, it's Kio!" Clad said with a panicked look on his face.
"Run away!" Shin shouted as they all started to run away from the man, only for them to be met with him instantly closing the distance between them and catching the three of them with his hands and lifting them in the air.
"Stop skipping training and go train!" He said with a very annoyed look on his face.
"But we don't want to!" they said in unison with sad looks on their faces.
"Except if you want to do my work of cleaning the dirty clothes all of the clan!"
The three siblings, remembering the horrid smell and the appearance of the dirty clothes, almost vomited from the thought of it and politely declined his offer, and eventually decided to go train.
Kio sighed as he looked at them walk away towards the training grounds and muttered to himself.
"Seriously, I still can't believe these lazy brats are prodigies."
