Ethan had come alone with Gu Cheng by tearing spatial nodes. That was also the way he thought he would go home, but with two more people, it made it difficult for Ethan to go through space.
This was a very big hassle, and with no portal being made, it would take so long. So they had to take a carriage.
Ethan brought three carriages and several horses. Alongside that, he had to hire some servants to take care of the young women. Though Ethan refused to treat them harshly, he didn't stop them from continuing with their duties.
The journey would at least take three months, which was a pain in the ass for Ethan. This made Ethan promise himself that the first thing he would do after reaching home was to build portals connecting to the Eldorian Empire for quick transport.
'Three months just for travelling...'
Ethan looked at the road ahead through the carriage window and sighed.
'The portal network really needs to be completed as soon as possible.'
