"What a surprise. It really is unbelievable." Simon stared at him with open shock and then shifted his gaze to Ethan's giant sword wrapped in lightning. His expression turned strange. "You really look sharp."
"Of course I am."
"Did you think of me as some greenhorn or what?"Ethan snorted.
During their earlier clash, Simon felt the bones in his hands almost crack just from holding his spear. He still could not judge how heavy Ethan's weapon was. Nor could he measure the destructive power behind each strike.
Ethan steadied himself and shot forward again.
Their weapons clashed in a brief exchange. Ethan swung his greatsword which boiled with flames. Simon met him with lightning wrapped around his spear. Sparks burst into the air. Dirt flew. Their footsteps cracked the ground.
