Cold Open — Swallowed Whole

EXT. SKY ABOVE THE CONTINENT — DAY
The World-Eater descends — not like a creature, but like an apocalypse.
Its "mouth" opens and an entire section of the sky is swallowed into darkness.
KAI (over comms):
"Xavier! Don't let it—"
WHITE FLASH — Xavier is gone.
Act 1 — Inside the World-Eater
INT. WORLD-EATER'S INNER VOID
No ground. No sky. Just endless flesh, bone, and floating islands of organs the size of cities.
Gravity pulls in multiple directions at once.
SYSTEM WARNING:
• Threat Level: ∞
• Environment Status: HOSTILE — Reality suppression active.
Xavier tries to move — his Apex Ascendant form slows to a crawl.
Even his lightning fizzles, eaten by the void around him.
XAVIER:
"…So you're not gonna make this easy."
Act 2 — The First Predator
From the shadows between titanic ribs, a hunter-beast emerges — not prey, but another Apex Predator, forged from the World-Eater's own cells.
Level: ?? (Est. >1500)
It moves faster than light should allow — slashing across Xavier's chest before he can fully react.
The fight is brutal, each strike shaking entire organ-islands apart.
Every wound the beast takes regenerates instantly.
Act 3 — Pushing Beyond Apex Ascendant
Xavier realizes his only chance is to overload himself, using his own life as fuel.
He calls up Hunter's Duality — but instead of splitting, he forces both copies into one body, merging strength and speed into a single overcharged core.
This begins tearing him apart at the cellular level — but it also lets him move at true Godspeed inside the suppression field.
He catches the predator mid-lunge, drives his blade through its skull, and rips out its glowing core.
Act 4 — The Heart of the Beast
The World-Eater reacts — the entire dimension tilts, pulling him toward a planet-sized heart beating in the distance.
Each beat sends shockwaves that erase anything caught in them.
Dozens of new predators emerge — all Level 1000+.
Xavier doesn't slow down. Every strike he makes now obliterates enemies instantly, speed and power far beyond what the HUD can register.
Act 5 — The Limit Break That Never Ends
He reaches the heart — a sphere of living energy surrounded by tendrils of black lightning.
XAVIER (to the heart):
"You looked at me first. Remember that."
He drives his sword in and unleashes Infinite Apex Sever — a Limit Break that does not end until his will does.
The heart ruptures, flooding the dimension with white-gold light.
Act 6 — Permanent Evolution
The explosion throws him out of the World-Eater's body, back onto the continent.
The sky above is torn — the World-Eater wounded, retreating into the void beyond the stars.
HUD:
LEVEL UP! 80 → 100
NEW PERMANENT PASSIVES:
• Transcendent Physique — All physical attributes scale infinitely with each battle survived.
• Absolute Velocity — Speed unaffected by environmental or dimensional suppression.
• Predator's Supremacy — Any opponent of lower level automatically suffers reduced speed, strength, and regeneration in Xavier's presence.
Ending Cliffhanger
EXT. RUINS OF THE CITADEL — NIGHT
The Shadow King stands on the balcony, watching the World-Eater retreat.
SHADOW KING (smiling):
"You hurt it. Now it will come for everything."
In the distance, Xavier walks out of the smoke — eyes burning with unending golden-white light, his aura now threaded with shadows from the World-Eater's heart.
XAVIER:
"Good. I'll hunt it to the edge of creation."
