Ivy's POV
"Alsh firmate alite." The words flowed from my lips as a fireball erupted from my hands, striking the pile of dry wood. Flames immediately caught and began to dance across the kindling. I carefully added larger pieces of wood, ensuring they caught fire properly. This spell required a sustained flame, and I couldn't afford any mistakes.
Once satisfied with the strength and stability of the fire, I returned to the ancient spell book lying open beside me. I read the critical page twice, committing each word to memory before setting the book safely on the ground. With trembling fingers, I retrieved two precious items from my pocket: my mother's necklace and a small piece of my father's skin. I sent a silent prayer to the Moon Goddess, hoping my interpretation of the spell was correct, then tossed both items into the hungry flames.
