Ivy's POV
I ended the call, suddenly aware of every pair of eyes fixed on me. With a determined breath, I turned to face the anxious crowd. "Continue checking everyone in."
"It's too late," Sherry whispered, her voice trembling on the edge of tears.
"No, it's not. The king will handle this," I stated firmly, conviction burning in my chest.
Rhea grabbed my hand, her fingers tightening around mine. "Are you certain?"
"Absolutely." I nodded, my resolve unwavering.
We resumed our task, methodically checking students off the list, until a voice called out from the crowd.
"Alpha Ivy?"
"Yes?" I responded, looking up from my tablet.
"The doors are locked."
Those three words unleashed chaos. Everyone froze before panic took hold. One girl began sobbing, and within seconds, fearful murmurs spread through the crowd.
"Please, everyone!" I raised my hands to command attention, the tablet still clutched in my grip. "I give you my word that none of you will be expelled."
