Elena POV
After the whole Esther incident as Jeremy and Matt rushed in to see, I told a fake story about Esther Changing me into what he is as I was knocked unconscious for the change to happen while he was after me.
Alaric decided that he would go through it but I made a point that Esther might come back to finish it so I have to kill him to prevent it as he agreed as I have to impale him with the White Oak so he can die, I cried but it's for the best with his dark half never showing up again.
We held a ceremonial goodbye as I walked back in the crypt to finish it as he was dead in my arms. I gave him a great grace but knowing there are still threats in my world as I need to end this quickly.
I called everyone to my house for a meeting as I have no time for a relationship with either Stefan or Damon. My focus right now is getting stronger plus my status said my soulmate isn't in this universe so I need to drop this now for both of them but to also make it clear really.
Stefan: So that's it, we're done?
Elena: Try to understand, Jeremy is my only family I have, I'm not keeping anything from him anymore as he's old enough to make his own decisions, if he wants to be apart of this than he has my support.
Stefan: What about Klaus?
Elena: Did you forget Esther turned me into something more powerful than an Original and Original Hybrid, I will be fine.
Stefan: You don't know what being a vampire means.
Elena: I drink human blood and I will not turn off my humanity, that switch is you running away from your problems cause your too scared to face reality, I won't hide from it.
Stefan: I guess that is that.
I nodded as everyone walked in as it's time for a meeting.
Caroline: Why did you call us here Elena?
Elena: I called you here to say that everyone stop protecting me, I'm stronger than Original so I no longer need protection, do you all get that now?
They all nodded as I nodded.
Elena: Good, now Klaus is only here cause he could use my blood to make hybrids but now that I'm not human than he can't.
Damon: So he done then.
Elena: Yep but don't drop your guards, still Originals, Kol and Elijah bolted, Finn's dead, Rebekah is still a childish bitch, and Klaus is still Klaus so watch each other's backs. I'm gonna take time focusing on myself as that's my choice.
Stefan got the message and Damon scoffed to leave as I sighed, the others got the message to leave as well.
Jeremy: Are you okay?
Elena: Yeah, I'm just gonna have to get use to being an Original.
Jeremy: Right but at least they can't mess with you now.
I nodded to that cause now I can take them if I wanted to but it's not come to that.
