"Wait what. You did not make her cry." Sirius asked puzzeled.
"We just stopped talking. After a long time my father came back so I spent most of my time with him. I guess because of that I stopped spending time with her. So we drifted apart I guess." I said solemnly. God I have no need for a petty fight. I have lots to do.
"Oh I see. We misunderstood you I guess." Remus said.
"But Lil-pads clearly hates you. You mush have done something right." James asked clearly not believing me.
"And that is what I too am confused about. I would clearly like to talk it out with her but being from a muggle community I guess all this magic had me too smitten." Sigh. I guess I really do need to have a talk with her.
"um we will let you off the hook now but if we see you messing with lil-pads we will have a serious problem." James said again failing at his intimidation act. I just nodded and headed to the great hall.
In the dorms-
"They tried what. And you didn't do anything. Why?" Pandora asked.
"Little moon if I did retalitate this time, what are the chances they won't get back at me the next time." I sighed.
"With how huge there ego is, I can certainly say that they will drag it till I am old and have no teeth in my mouth." I added.
"But keeping quite is not an answer." Pandora said clearly frustrated.
"Oh who said about keeping quite little moon. I just will not do it openly. That's all." I said smirking.
"Oh for a second I thought I am roommate with a rle abider like that Amelia Bones from fourth year.
"Oh no. I just prefer to do things in shadow that's all." I said. We both laughed at that.
Later that day I was near the black lake when I heard footsteps. I turned around and saw Lily.
"Long time no see Lily-pads." I said mockingly. I heard the rustling of the leaves. So those four idiots are here too huh.
"What do you want?" Lily asked, jaw cclenched.
"Just wanted to ask you to not spread rumors you know. I come to know from a source that apparently I made you cry." I said.
"I- I did not cry." Lily said.
"Lils you were the one who stopped speaking to me. I tried to mend our friendship but you were adamant about not speaking to me." I said.
"Why, didn't want to convince me anymore. Can't bother with me." She asked mockingly.
"I got my dad not long ago Lily. I expected support from you. Not this." I said incredulous.
"I -I" Lily stammered.
"Lily you were my best friend. I expected you to understand me." I said gently now. She just looked down. Not meeting my eyes. Sigh. I went towards her and hugged her.
"Wanna be friends again." I asked.
"Yes-ye" She broke down crying. Sigh I can never win against her. We talked for a long time that day. She apologized to me again and again. Turns out though she was mad at me she never let anyone bad mouth me.
"Guess someone must have heard me crying. How embarrassing. Mum says that us girls shouldn't let anyone see our vulnerable side." She said. No wonder she grows up into such a head strong women. Guess those idiots acted on there own huh.
In the dorm-
It was night. Moon was high. Shining so bright. Sigh.
Guess I can't push others just because of the future I have seen about them. I made a mistake. I pushed someone based on a future yet to happen.
She must have been scared herself too when she saw her friend not talking with her again.She must have though she lost me.
I can't let my fear guide me. I can't let my emotions take control of me. I decided to sleep peacefully and not think about anything anymore.
A few weeks later-
Me and Lily had become friends again. She did everything to make up for her actions. She realized how wrong she was. Pandora was skeptical but later she too warmed up with Lily.
She did asked me again and again why I called her Lily-pads that day. I just said the entire thing about my confrontation with mauderers.
She was fuming but when I stated that without them we wouldn't even had talked with each other. She calmed herself hearing that. She also looked a bit embarrassed.
According to law with adult supervision I can open my buisness. Both the muggle and magical law states so. But before that I will have to have an inheritance test with the Gringotts bank. I have to write a letter to my mother then.
