Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 Su Qing Is A Little Confused

Su Qing stared at the the word Jiang Sui typed.

Okay.

For a long moment, Su Qing stood at the doorway until her phone rang, and then she responded.

The caller's voice was still those familiar words.

Jiang Sui.

Her eyes trembled, she hung up the phone, pulled out her room card, and pushed the door open.

"You still remember to come back ah!"

Perhaps hearing the door open, the young man sat down in the chair next to the TV table and turned to look at the door.

"Hanged me up?"

His handsome face was tinged with impatience, as if he was upset at having been hung up on.

Su Qing placed the instant noodles she was holding on the table, a hint of irritation in her eyes. She had always been well-controlled and gentle, but she didn't know why she couldn't control herself in front of Jiang Sui.

"I didn't ask you to stay here."

"You can get out just by opening the door."

"I didn't ask you to call me!"

Su Qing, standing off to the side, began unpacking textbooks from her backpack. A hint of impatience etched itself on her face, her lips pursed. Her small frame betrayed a vexed expression, seemingly irritated with someone.

Her words were even somewhat hurtful.

The boy's previously relaxed demeanor suddenly changed, his expression turning even colder, though he continued to gaze intently at Su Qing.

Seeing the girl's nonchalant expression, Jiang Sui instantly felt a surge of anger.

The boy's expression remained impassive.

"Su Qing, well done."

Fingers yanked the chair open with a harsh, piercing sound.

The slender figure left without a glance back.

Bang! ! !

The sound of a door closing.

Su Qing sat in a nearby chair, not even looking up, as the air and the room gradually grew quieter.

She pulled the English test paper from her bag with an expressionless face.

She opened the paper, the familiar letters now seeming like astronomy. She could hardly focus, and could only force herself to do the test.

Nearly half an hour passed.

Her mind was filled with all of this.

[Don't like Jiang Sui, you'll become unfortunate.]

[Some things you think were passed, but who knows?]

[People like us, whom you can't afford to offend, should never be provoked.]

[Su Qing, you're very smart, aren't you? You know what I'm talking about.]

Tian Shasha, an unfamiliar figure, someone they'd only met a few times, yet Su Qing felt deeply uneasy.

What exactly was Tian Shasha trying to say?

What did those words mean?

And that afternoon.

Those conversations in the group chat...

She couldn't stop herself from thinking about them.

Those vague words, a girl's intuition, Su Qing felt were directed at her.

But then Jiang Sui suddenly jumped in, offering to be a student guide.

For a moment, Su Qing, already utterly irritated, had a moment's respite.

Su Qing was a bit flustered.

So flustered that she couldn't hold it in anymore and actually snapped at Jiang Sui.

This seemed totally inappropriate.

Su Qing stared at the instant noodles on the table.

She put away the papers, thought for a moment, then picked up her phone, intending to call Jiang Sui.

She did need to apologize...

She pulled out her phone, hesitated for a moment, and didn't even dial.

Two familiar words.

Jiang Sui's phone rang non-stop, and then it called...

Su Qing froze for a moment, flustered, and nearly dropped her phone...
