Based on the previous diary spoilers:
Kamar-Taj already has a Time Stone, and the Space Stone hidden inside the Cosmic Cube is lying safely in the S.H.I.E.L.D. base.
Plus, the Mind Stone previously installed on Vision.
That's… three Infinity Stones on Earth?Ah, geez!
Tony didn't know what to say.
At that moment, a thought flashed through his mind: "Possessing treasure invites trouble."
Not the exact words, but roughly the meaning.
Earth hasn't even reached a spacefaring stage yet. Even though Tony hasn't witnessed advanced space civilizations, he knows that compared to the cosmos, Earth is extremely primitive.
And yet, the interstellar overlord, Purple Potato Thanos, is collecting Infinity Stones across the universe!
In this scenario, Earth's situation is extremely dangerous.
Sure, Odin and the Ancient One are still alive now, so Earth has these two major powers to protect it temporarily.
But the key problem is, these two great beings won't live forever.
When they're gone, Earth will truly be in grave danger.
The diary had already spoiled the fact that the Battle of New York was triggered because S.H.I.E.L.D. was researching the Cosmic Cube, which sent signals into space and alerted Purple Potato Thanos.
Now, Tony thinks that even if S.H.I.E.L.D. hadn't studied the Cube, Earth would eventually attract the attention of Purple Potato Thanos.
Three Infinity Stones…Would a space tyrant like him possibly ignore that?
Instantly, Tony felt immense pressure and urgency.
Poor Vision, truly tragic and unfair.
The Mind Stone plus a body made entirely of Vibranium, so powerful.
In another universe, his body was even possessed by Ultron, and he could kill a multi-stone Purple Potato Thanos instantly.
Yet in this timeline? He barely fought Ultron and the Civil War, then died without much impact.
His strength went completely unused.
First, he was killed by Wanda destroying the Stone, then revived and forcibly stripped of the Stone by Purple Potato Thanos. Killed twice in a short span.
So unfortunate!
A full Vibranium body!Tony's pupils constricted sharply.
Vibranium, the hardest known metal on Earth, was what Captain America's shield was made of.
But now, apparently, other Vibranium exists on Earth besides the shield.
The point is: a full Vibranium body plus Infinity Stones is ridiculous.
A robot like this is undeniably powerful; no wonder he could sweep the Avengers single-handedly.
Even more terrifying: he once instantly killed a multi-stone Purple Potato Thanos.
That version of Purple Potato Thanos could be at the level of Odin or the Ancient One.
Yet he was instantly killed.
Vision's strength is truly astonishing.
Apparently, in the other universe, when Vision killed multi-stone Thanos, Ultron occupied his body.
Tony's mind flashed, he started to piece things together.
The relationship between him, Ultron, and Vision always seemed tangled.
Tony created Ultron, who turned against him, but then they collaborated to create Vision.
Previously, Tony didn't understand why. Now it seems Ultron was after Vision's body.
The diary mentions that in another universe, Ultron successfully occupied Vision's body.
This means Ultron likely tried this in other universes too, but didn't succeed.
Why not? Probably because Tony himself intervened.
Tony fought a battle with Ultron over Vision's body.
In some universes, Tony won; in others, he lost.
The diary also mentioned Wanda killing Vision.
Tony had long wondered why Wanda would make such an extreme decision to kill her love.
Now it's clear: Wanda destroyed the Mind Stone to prevent Purple Potato Thanos from getting it.
Vision was merely collateral damage.
Purple Potato Thanos, however, revived Vision, recovering the destroyed Mind Stone, and seized it.
From start to finish, Wanda and Thanos were after the Infinity Stones, not Vision.
The mystery of Vision being killed twice is finally solved.
However, one question remains: how did Purple Potato Thanos revive a destroyed Infinity Stone?
Why revive Vision along with it?
Based on clues, Tony reasonably deduces: Purple Potato Thanos used the Time Stone to reverse time.
Before he went to Wakanda to seize the Mind Stone, he probably already had the Time Stone.
"Wait a minute!"
Tony suddenly recalls another diary detail: Purple Potato Thanos fought Doctor Strange on Titan.
But Strange didn't use the Time Stone.Why not?Could it be that Thanos had already taken the Time Stone?
Thus, Thanos likely took the Time Stone on Titan, then went to Wakanda for the Mind Stone.
So far, the mystery behind Thanos collecting the Stones is partly revealed.
That was the last Infinity Stone! If Purple Potato Thanos gets it, he could snap and wipe out half the universe!
If only Sue-Rui had more time, she could have taken the Stone.
Vision wouldn't have had to be killed by Wanda, and the Avengers might have stood a chance.
But the world isn't full of "if onlys."
Thanos' army isn't easy to resist.
And Thanos himself personally intervened.
Clearly, the Avengers couldn't handle this situation.
The diary also confirms that the mysterious "Snap" requires all Infinity Stones to work.
No wonder it can wipe out half of all life.
With the Infinity Gauntlet, the Snap is simply a signal—like casting a spell.
Tony finally understands.
Previously, the purpose of Thanos collecting the Stones was unknown. Now it's clear: the Snap is to wipe out half of all life in the universe.
Tony wonders: why? Why eliminate half the universe?
This is beyond his understanding.
He does, however, understand why Wanda sacrificed Vision to destroy the Stone.
The Avengers knew what would happen if Thanos got it.
As for Wakanda's guardian at the time…Who knows why she remained hidden during the crisis?
Bast, the Black Panther goddess, exists, but she didn't intervene.
"Wakanda has a god?!"
Tony is genuinely shocked.
Not only are there Norse gods, but even Chinese gods exist.
This means many gods exist in the world.
Yet Earth's Wakanda, considered one of the poorest nations, is also a high-tech nation with gods?
This country is completely overpowered!
However, from the diary, Bast seems a bit disappointing…
Regardless, Tony focuses on the diary's further spoilers.
The "Pantheon" is mentioned for the first time.
It's easy to understand: it's the gathering place of gods.
With such a place, the universe has countless gods.
