Saif looks at Ethon with confusion and dismay, as him being here was undeniable proof that all of it was true. "Ethon... . So it was all true? You all came back... . Why? Don't you remember everything!!!" Ethon doesn't quickly reply, and instead actually commands the body guards to let Saif go. They hesitated for a moment and looked at each other, then at the person, but then let him go, and that was all Saif needed to then lunge again at that man, but Ethon quickly stopped him and restrained him alone from behind. "Okay everyone, I am going to take this boiling pot rage away for a bit for a talk. So excuse us." Ethon lightly replies as he pulls Saif away. But then he looks towards the man with his eyes narrowed and says, "Excuse me except to you."
After pulling Saif away to a far enough point from people. A place that is secluded with no one in it, that is right near an edge of what looks like a cliff. When they are finally there, Ethon then says to Saif, "Come on man! Calm down already! Do you think you are the only one who wants to beat him dead!" Saif quickly and angrily replies, "Says the guy who is working with him now!" Ethon didn't take that lightly and Saif's words made him really angry and he yelled, "Work with him!!! Have you not been paying any type of attention at all! In what world will I ever consciously or unconsciously work with Redacted!!!"
The anger Ethon was in made him sloppy, and it gave Saif the opportunity to break free. Saif didn't run to beat up Redacted, but just stood there in front of Ethon panting. Ethon was surprised that Saif could ever break free, but he knew it was just him being sloppy, and Saif taking the opportunity, like any he has always taken in the right moment. They both just stood there in silence, just staring at each other, panting from tiredness. Saif breaks the silence by then asking while trying to be calm at first but quickly rasing his voice to Ethon, "Then please, explain to me how in any way shape or form could coming back here be a good fucking idea!!"
Ethon sighs. A look of understanding quickly takes over his face as he sees the confusion and feeling of betrayal on Saif's face. He goes and sits down at the cliff's edge, then pats the spot right next to him, gesturing for Saif to come sit with him. Saif just looks at him for a moment, but then soon follows and sits with him. Saif was the first to speak in a now calm and controlled voice and said, "Listen man, I know I am not in the wrong in this at all. You know he wouldn't be smiling except if he is gaining something from this. And how in the hell did that place open again? I thought we closed it for good." He then adds, "Was everything we did back then for nothing? All who died were just in vain?" Ethon quickly answered, "No, no, no man. None of that is true. It's just a little more complicated than that." Ethon sighs again and then says, "Listen, after we escaped, we all got a message from PRAY. From what I have been told, it was sent to all of us who escaped. And all of you except me didn't open the message."
Saif is shocked and asks, "You opened their message!" Ethon then continues, "Yes I did Saif. I had to know what they could have possibly sent to me." He tries to lighten up the mood and says, "Hey, maybe it would have been those 100,000 they promised, he-he... ." Saif's face doesn't change from the determined one, so Ethon says, "Sorry… . Look, I opened it and it said that we didn't really finish the job and that they needed us back there." Saif was shocked and quickly retaliated and said, "Didn't finish the job?! How?! We escaped! The only way to leave that place is by 'finishing the job', then getting out from where you came from. How could I forget the one thing they told us on the day they put us in that hell!"
"Listen Saif, I know this is a lot, and I know you might not trust me after what I did, but I am still me. The same me who traveled with you in that hell hole. Remember everything we have done, and how many times you had my back and I had yours, and then decide if you would trust me or not in this choice I took." Ethon says with hope in his voice. Saif gives him a sympathetic look while remembering all they went through together. He then replies, "Listen man, I blindly trust you, never get that twisted, but who I will never no matter what trust is that damn Redacted, and anything he associates himself with." Ethon quickly replies, "I know, I know, and trust me, I feel the exact same. But, there were things needed to be done, and there was more to gain from that place. I had to do this."
Saif took in a long bit of air, then realised it all in a huge sigh. "I can't believe you came back here willingly." Saif says in defeat. Ethon, now finding Saif more open says, "Well, it was a mix of duty, and doctor's orders, and some cash to be gained." Saif chuckles and says, "You and cash. God, how didn't I see that there had to be cash gained." They both laugh slightly for a bit then Saif continues, "But hey, how the hell is getting back there 'doctor's orders'?" Ethon gets a bit more serious, but mostly gloomy and says, "My therapist said that I needed severe exposure therapy, as facing what I feared was the only way to move on after I told him about me having the opportunity to come back. To understand that it can't hurt me anymore. That we finished everything. And because I felt it was my duty to also help in finishing the job, I said hey, two birds with one stone you know." Saif then says, "I still can't believe that you did all of this man." He then jokingly adds, "Plus, that 'sense of duty' smells more like a stack of cash." Ethon then continues and jokingly says, "What? You think I am not good enough to do this just out of the goodness of my heart and not the sweet sweet cash to be gained?" They both laugh at that one. Both are now less tense and more open with each other too. "Well, I would have never been able to finish the job and make this place safe without your notes, you know." Ethon says quickly.
