I entered the house... The house was decorated with flashing, bright lights. The walls were painted a bright red. The carpet spread out, black and soft. The house was completely packed. There were people everywhere. Everyone was scrunched up.
Tammy turned to me with a broad grin, "Hey, I'll be back to get a drink. You're okay to be yourself."
I nodded, waving my hand toward him. "Yeah. Go."
I watched him go into the throng of people, and his body disappeared. I look around and notice all sorts of people have arrived. One of the girls was looking at me with interest in her eyes. She had pink lip gloss, black hair tinged with blue, and light skin.
She wasn't ugly, and I was in a good mood. I would have gone to talk to her.
I started to walk around slowly, and the girl who was watching me turned to her friends to whisper something and set down her cup on the table.
