The Forest of Lost Paths is ruled by an entity known as Ilona,
the living embodiment of the forest for countless ancient centuries.
The forest is considered a forbidden land to the outside world,
recognizing neither the laws of kingdoms nor the boundaries of humankind.
Its vast expanse rivals twice the size of the Australian continent,
and it holds remarkably diverse terrain—
from regions of breathtaking beauty… to terrifying domains whose inhabitants remain unknown.
The climate within the forest is distributed in unnatural ways,
as if it were a living system deliberately designed to safeguard its riches and secrets.
Four great kingdoms surround the forest:
— To the south: The Kingdom of Gold
— To the east: The Kingdom of Night
— To the northeast: The Kingdom of Ash
— To the north: The Kingdom of Dawn
To the west lies a vast, immeasurable lake,
its true boundaries unknown.
The events begin on the far side of the forest,
where Toki and Luna find themselves in an unfamiliar place…
far removed from everything they once knew.
