I woke up on the hospital bed staring at 5 puzzled but happy faces. Doris, who was sitting beside me on the bed, immediately hugged me while Kamsi and Mr and Mrs Juvenus came rounding my bed. Janet on the other hand was checking my vitals to see if I was alright after the incident. Doris immediately said while sobbing "Brother, why did you do this to me, you wanted to leave us when we just met? Please brother don't do it again". Kamsi, who had just had a relived face, turned to Janet saying "Um sis, why did Rorbet faint in the sun and how are is his vitals?. Hope he wasn't too much affected". The puzzled look on her face made the family to be worried sick .Reading her mind I knew she was more or less shocked to see me in perfect shape even after I had unusually fainted in direct sunlight. She answered her dad who asked what the problem was saying " I think his body changes when exposed to direct sunlight ". As she said this she pulled open the curtains revealing the sun rays hitting directly at me. As predicted my body's well being deteriorated rapidly to almost zero. As her suspicion was confirmed , she immediately closed the curtains which improved my health as abruptly as it deteriorated.This abnormality became a major worry to my family.
Then Doris said "So this means Robert can't go out in the sun?. Like ever? ". As she said this, she started crying and apologizing for putting me in this condition. I comforted her saying "It wasn't because of you". I guess it is the effect of the thing's bite. Don't worry our Doc can get me better right sis". I said this not too optimistic as I read her mind that told me it has no cure. But it can be prevented by applying sun creams before going out and by taking some energy boaster to help him through the day ". Her words lit the faces of all around.
Then Mrs Juvenus said " So Janet , what you are saying is that Robert needs a lifetime supply of sun creams and energy boasters right". Janet confirmed her question. Mr Juvenus added,"I will take care of his health and provision of his sun creams but Janet , I would love if you could find a solution to Robert disease okay". Janet replied "Don't worry, I will work my butt off to make sure that Robert illness is entirely terminated.
Mr and Mrs Juvenus as Kamsi left as they had important things to do. Doris decided to stay with me as Janet went into full research mode. Doris was so caring that she insisted on staying by my side all night. She couldn't stop telling me about her friends, school and her life. Her final word before she slept was,"I'm so lucky to have you on my life and soon you will start schooling with me".
