Chapter 27 - Part 27 Dragon knight ARC XXVI The Blood Titan

Chapter 1: The Regret

Two weeks after the water monster battle…

Inside Strom's house, the once-proud dragon Dravyss lay bedridden in her human form. Her body was broken from the fight, strength drained, unable to even feed herself.

The question was—how did she even make it back alive?

Flashback—

Strom had used the pendant stone, forcing her into human form before she collapsed. With her frail body in his arms, Strom walked the long distance back home without rest.

Flashback scene:

Dravyss (weak, human form, in Strom's arms): "Am I… heavy?"

Strom (smiling, carrying her with determination): "Nah, mom. You lifted me so many times… this is just a return gift."

Back at the house

Neighbors asked Strom what happened to his mother.

He lied with a forced smile: "She fell from the stairs."

But no one could see the weight in his heart.

That night…

Strom sat beside her bed, feeding her spoonful by spoonful, even telling little bedtime stories to ease her pain.

Dravyss (weak but smiling): "Strom… thank you for this love."

Strom (eyes down, guilt heavy): "…It's okay, mom."

Dravyss: "I told you, it's not your fault. It's mine… I lost control. You only did what I told you."

Strom (gritting teeth): "Told me? Mom… you almost died because of me. I'm the worst son alive."

Dravyss (placing her trembling hand on his cheek): "No… you're the best son. Because if I am the best mother to you, then you must be the best too. Forget the past, Strom."

Strom clenched his fists. Then he pulled out a small wrapped cloth. Inside, a gold & platinum bangle he had saved for her, a gift never given because of the battle.

Strom (softly): "Here… I was supposed to give you this earlier."

Dravyss (smiling through tears): "Why do you give me so many things, Strom? I've never gifted you anything."

Strom (holding her hand): "Mom… you are my biggest gift , I don't need anything."

Both smiled at each other. For Dravyss, it was worth leaving her planet, worth every battle, because Strom's love was greater than any honor or trophy. It was pure, unshakable love.

Chapter 2: The Dragon Pendant Curse

Morning, Strom's house.

Dravyss tries to walk on her own, weak but determined. Strom is in the kitchen, sleeves rolled up, trying to bake bread.

Suddenly—

A twisted creature smashes through the kitchen door. Its body is like a crocodile, but it walks upright on two legs, drooling and snarling.

Before it can roar, Strom instantly grabs it — one arm locking its mouth shut, the other pinning its claws.

Strom (gritting teeth, whispering): Not a sound… not a single f*ing sound…

But then— CLANG! A bowl of sugar falls, echoing through the house.

From the hall:

Dravyss: "Son, what happened?"

Strom (still wrestling the crocodile demon): "Nothing mom! Just a rat!"

Dravyss (to herself, annoyed): Rat? In my presence? I think they forgot who I am…

CRACK!

Strom snaps the demon's spine and neck in one swift motion, killing it instantly. The sound echoes through the kitchen.

Dravyss: "What was that sound now?"

Strom (deadpan, standing over corpse): "Just cracking my knuckles!"

Dravyss: "...Okay."

She slowly walks toward the counter while Strom stares down at the corpse.

Strom (muttering): "F***… a demon corpse in my kitchen. Wow."

He tries to figure out how to hide it, but the body is massive.

Strom (frustrated): "WTF! Now how the hell do I hide him?"

While checking the body, he finds a crumpled note in its pocket.

Note: "I will give you so much money if you bring me the head of the Dragon Knight."

Strom: "Oh f***! Me Now someone wants my head. What's next? My heart?!"

Flashback montage:

In the two weeks after the water monster fight, Strom has been attacked by countless bounty hunters and demons. Every single one ended up dead. Word has spread: the Dragon Knight is still alive.

Back to the present. Strom finally shoves the corpse into a huge sack. He drags it outside, pretending it's just trash, hiding it from the townsfolk.

Just as he's about to dump it— a little kid runs up.

Strom (in his head): "Please, kid, don't come here… or I'll throw you too."

Kid: "Hey Mr. Baker! Today's my birthday. I want a Demon Lord cake. I'll come in the evening with my mom, she'll pay. Understand?"

Strom (staring, exhausted): "…Yes, boss."

Kid: "Okay! But remember, Demon Lord must look cool! Red eyes, big smile. Black berry and strawberry flavor!"

Strom (forcing a smile): "Yes sir. Of course."

The kid runs off happily. Strom dumps the sack quickly and walks back into the house, annoyed.

Strom (frustrated): "What the f*** happened to kids nowadays…"

Dravyss (from the hall): "Son, what happened?"

Strom: "That little brat wants that ugly-ass Demon Lord on his birthday cake… and not me! I mean— the Dragon Knight!"

Dravyss (smiling faintly): "I think nowadays people love villains more."

Strom (offended): "But who the hell wants a Demon Lord cake, huh?"

Dravyss: "Maybe he wants to eat the fear."

Strom (pausing, then nodding): "…Hmmm. Great thinking, mom."

They both stand in the kitchen, silent for a moment.

Then Strom smirks, grabs the whisk, and says:

Strom: "Fine. Let's make the scariest Demon Lord cake ever."

And so, Dragon Knight and Dragon Mom began baking… the enemy.

Chapter 3: The Spearman is Back

At night.

Dravyss roars in her dragon form, clashing against the Demon Lord. His claws rip through her scales, blood spraying as she falls—

Strom wakes up with a jolt. Breathing heavy, drenched in sweat.

He rushes upstairs, heart pounding, only to see Dravyss sleeping peacefully in her human form.

Strom (relieved, muttering): "Just a dream…"

His heartbeat steadies. He walks back down, splashes cold water on his face, staring into the mirror.

Strom (gritting teeth): "I know… that Demon Lord is trying to come back."

He stands in the doorway, lost in thought. Suddenly—

Hunter (stepping from shadows): "You will die tonight, Strom."

Strom groans, already slamming his head against the wall dramatically.

Strom: "F*** you, man. It's 3 AM! And you want to kill me instead of sleep? Can't you just chill?"

Hunter (confused): "Uh… are you alright? If you're not feeling well, I can come later."

Strom (hopeful): "Promise?"

Hunter: "Okay, no problem. Whenever you want to die."

Strom (smiling): "Ohhh thank you, bro. Now just get your ass out of here."

Hunter: "Okay, bye. See you later soon."

Strom: "Don't come in this month, okay?"

Hunter: "Deal."

The hunter leaves. Strom collapses into bed, snuggling under his blanket.

Strom (half-asleep, smiling): "World still has good people…"

And he drifts off into peaceful sleep.

Morning.

Strom is back in the kitchen, working. Dravyss sits on the counter, quietly watching him cook.

Suddenly, Strom sees two familiar figures staggering toward the house.

Zyphus and Violet — the spearman and marksman siblings. Both are battered, their armor shattered, wounds sealed but old, at least five days old.

Zyphus (weakly): "Strom… I need your help."

Before Strom can respond, Violet collapses. Zyphus nearly falls too. Strom quickly lifts Violet and supports Zyphus.

All four — Strom, Dravyss, Zyphus, Violet — enter the house. After water and rest, Violet finally regains consciousness.

Zyphus (gritting teeth): "A servant of the Demon Lord has awakened… too strong. Too much strong."

Strom's eyes flicker over Zyphus's shattered blue diamond armor.

Strom (sarcastic): "Man… can that Demon Lord not chill? He can't even wait a single month without waking his servants?"

Violet (shaking her head): "One month? Strom… that servant has been destroying everything for the past two months."

Zyphus: "It was far from our empire. That's why we only got the information late."

Strom freezes.

Strom: "Past two months? But two weeks ago when the Water nightmare fell… didn't he awaken two servants at once?"

Zyphus (confused): "Two? Bro, the Demon Lord can only awaken one servant at a time."

Strom (tense): "If you're saying that, then who the f*** did we fight two weeks ago?"

Silence falls.

Dravyss (calmly): "That water monster… it wasn't awakened by the Demon Lord. It awakened by my roar."

Zyphus (shocked): "Huh?! And who… who is this lady?"

Strom (dead serious): "She's my mom. Give her some respect."

Zyphus & Violet (immediately bowing): "Sorry, ma'am! We didn't recognize you."

Dravyss (gentle smile): "It's okay."

Violet (still dizzy): "Sorry, Strom… but we don't understand a single thing."

Zyphus (narrowing eyes, piecing clues): "Wait… ma'am… did you grow too big during that fight?"

Dravyss: "…Yes. That was me."

Zyphus (relieved, laughing despite wounds): "Ohh God… that means one upcoming servant of the Demon Lord is already gone! Hell yeah!"

Strom (confused): "Can you explain it clearly?"

Violet (pointing weakly at Strom): "No, you explain first."

And Strom begins telling them the full story of the Water Nightmare battle…

Chapter 4 — The Team

Strom – Now you both, tell me about that servant.

Violet – He is… no, she is… no man! Fu#k. It is—yes, it is terrifying.

Strom – So, it's… something like male or female?

Zyphus – Both.

Strom – …Okay, I'm not laughing at all.

Zyphus – It's a fused body, Strom.

Strom – A fused body?

Violet – Yes. Two heads. Four arms. Two bodies. Four legs. But the thing is—it has no skin. Like someone just ripped it off. Its blood drips every second.

Strom – Hmmm. Sounds terrifying.

Dravyss – What is its size?

Strom – No mom, you are not coming. Not this time.

Dravyss – Strom, I think you all need my help. It's a servant of the demon lord.

Strom – You've fought enough. Not this time. Just take rest—we will manage.

Zyphus – I think we need her also.

Dravyss – See? It's important. I should come with you all.

Strom – No. We will manage. Promise me.

Dravyss – Strom, you just can't lo–

Strom (cutting her) – Promise me!

Dravyss (hesitant, low voice) – …Okay. I'll stay home.

Strom turns and marches out. Zyphus and Violet exchange uneasy glances before following him. Behind them, Dravyss sits in silence, hands curled tight on the counter.

Strom – First, let's go to Astrid's house.

Violet – Astrid's house? Why?

Strom – We need our team. Our allies.

Zyphus – Man, I also need a new shoulder plate…

Strom – I have two options for you.

Zyphus – Two options? What are they?

Strom – You can have an old shoulder plate made by me—or borrow one from Astrid.

Zyphus – Metal or diamond?

Strom – Bro, we use iron or steel. We don't use fancy diamond.

Zyphus – Man, my whole armor was diamond, and now my shoulder is steel… what a downfall.

Strom – Don't worry. It will save your shoulder as well as your ass. (laughs)

Zyphus – Wow! A baker talking about war to a knight, huh? Mommy's boy.

Strom – Hey! Be careful with your words, okay.

Violet – Can you both stop fighting, please? We're already in danger.

Strom – Danger my foot.

Strom suddenly stops in front of a cave hidden deep in the jungle. Dark, silent, ancient.

Strom – You both stay here.

Moments later, heavy footsteps echo. Strom steps out, fully armored in his strongest gear. The dragon-emblazoned helmet hides his face, cape trailing, spear in hand—the one weapon that once cut gods.

Strom – I'm ready. Here—catch.

He tosses an old shoulder plate to Zyphus.

Zyphus – Ohhh god… why steel plate, why not diamond plate…

Violet – Wear that or the monster will beat your ass.

Strom – Hell yeah, now you're talking my words.

Zyphus – I hate you all.

Later, the team reaches the Valkyrie village—the territory where even high-ranked threats don't dare step. Strom and the others arrive at Astrid's house. Astrid is out training. Inside, Wraith and Sam are sitting with Flowra (Astrid's mother), laughing and sketching artworks on parchment.

Strom – Here we go.

Chapter 5 — The Blood Titan

Strom – Hey Valkyrie, what's up. Looking hot.

Sam (shouting from the house) – Hey bro, she's my girl, okay?

Strom – You never give her a single compliment, that's why I have to.

Wraith – Hey guys, what's up?

Violet – Hello. I'm good, what about you?

They talk for a while, then everyone gathers up, ready for the coming hunt. Evening sets in.

Strom – Alright everyone, pack your bags. We're going to hunt Blood.

Sam – So where's Aunt Dravyss?

Strom – We don't need her for this battle. She needs rest.

Wraith – Yeah… the fight broke her too much.

Astrid – And without her, we don't even have a strong base. Nia's out for work, and our Dragon Aunty is always forced to rest. Guess what? We're all fu#ked up.

Strom – We can win. I believe it.

The team takes a wagon, traveling fast.

Zyphus – Man… your old village is completely destroyed.

Strom – Yes… by that ugly servant of that bitch.

Zyphus – I'm done killing them. Don't even know how many are left.

Violet – I just wish—please let this be the last one.

Strom – I wish that too.

It takes a full night and half a day. Finally, they reach the ruined village. Houses burned, corpses everywhere, survivors screaming. But the monster is gone.

Strom – Save everyone. Get them out of here.

It takes more than an hour to carry the injured and children to safety. Once done…

Violet – That monster lives in a cave. An ancient one, built by the Old Tribe.

Strom – Then we bury it alive.

The team marches toward the cursed cave. The air is heavy, silence broken only by dripping water from mossy rocks.

Strom – Alright team. Ready your weapons. Prepare for battle.

They tighten grips, blades and spears shimmering in the dim torchlight. But before they enter… footsteps. Heavy, wet. Something comes from outside.

Strom – MOVE!

They dodge. The nightmare is real. A colossal figure steps into the light—Blood Titan. A body fused, skinless, muscles torn and dripping blood endlessly. Its two heads glare with madness.

The team rushes in.

Wraith dashes with her blade, speed unmatched, slicing across its torso.

Astrid slams down her massive sword, earth cracking under her blows.

Sam chants, staff glowing as waves of fire and arcane strike the Titan.

Zyphus whirls his twin spears, aiming for the beast's hearts.

But Blood Titan is too strong. Its speed unnatural, its body half-invisible—seen, yet untouchable.

Every hit lands scars, deep wounds tearing its flesh. Yet it doesn't flinch.

Within moments, all six warriors are on the ground, bodies bruised and broken.

Blood Titan still stands. Dripping. Breathing. Unshaken.

Blood Titan – You kids are nothing in front of us.

Strom (gritting teeth) – We'll settle this later.

Sam slams his staff down, shouting an incantation. A blinding flash erupts—

In the blink of an eye, the team vanishes. Teleported far into a distant forest, gasping for breath, defeated in round one.

Chapter 6 — The Truth of Blood

The team limps through the broken village, searching for shelter. In the distance, a modest house sits on the edge of the forest, silent but still standing. Hoping for help, they approach. Strom knocks on the door.

An old woman, nearly 78, opens it. Nyna. Her eyes widen at the sight of their wounds.

Nyna – Oh my god… you children, you're injured. Please, come in!

She quickly sets out medicine and steaming cups of tea. Her kindness feels warm, almost grandmotherly.

Strom (holding his side) – Ouch… feels like my ribs are gone.

Zyphus – My knee's shot. I don't think I'll walk properly again.

Violet – My left wrist… it snapped when I was aiming.

Astrid – Head's still ringing. That punch dented my helmet.

Sam – That thing is insane. The Blood Titan can't be stopped…

At the name, Nyna freezes. Her hands tremble. Her tea cup almost slips.

Nyna – …You childrens… you fought the Blood Titan?

Strom – Yes, grandmother. We fought it because we're here to stop it. To protect people.

Wraith – But who's going to protect us from it?

Nyna (sighs) – There's only one weapon that can help you… Knowledge. The truth of what it really is.

The room grows silent. The fire crackles. Nyna's eyes dim as she begins telling the tale.

The Lore of Blood Titan

Nyna – Many, many years ago… a couple came to the village. No one knew who they were or where they came from. All anyone saw was a happy family… a father, a mother, and their little girl.

Her voice shakes.

Nyna – But the truth… was darker. The villagers caught the couple praying to the Demon Lord in an old cave. Terrified of black magic, they saw the two as a threat. A danger.

So the villagers… buried them alive. Trapped in that dark cave.

But even in the darkness, their prayers never stopped. Day and night… humming praises to the Demon Lord. Until one day… the humming went silent.

The villagers grew fearful. They begged a paladin to seal the cave. And so he did. He locked it with a holy pendant of light, marked the stone, and sealed it forever.

But the villagers weren't satisfied. They hunted for the daughter. Eleven years old. They wanted to kill her too… but she vanished.

Her hands tighten around her shawl.

Nyna – People whispered that the couple had been blessed by the Demon Lord. That they weren't dead at all… only waiting. The seal was the only reason the village lived in peace.

Strom – So someone… from the village must have broken the seal.

Zyphus – Honestly… I think they should've been given a chance to change.

Violet – Killing isn't always the answer. That poor little girl… she must've been destroyed after losing her parents.

Wraith – What was her age?

Nyna – Eleven.

Sam – Her childhood… her future… all stolen. That's not what she deserved.

Astrid – So now someone wants revenge. Someone wants the village destroyed. But why now?

Strom – Whoever it is, they don't care about the people. They only want to watch everyone suffer.

Wraith – Then we have to find who's behind it.

Astrid – But we only know its story and its power. Not its weakness. How do we stop something that can't even feel pain?

Strom (grim) – I don't know. Maybe the villagers are paying for what they did. But not every soul in that village deserves this.

Zyphus – We can't defeat it. It's impossible.

Strom – Then we prepare. Because now we've seen it. And nightmares can be broken.

Astrid – You saw how it moved. Its speed, its strength. How do we even run from that?

Strom – We'll crush it. Because we have to.

The team begins planning. Strom gathers them close.

Strom – We strike hard, then escape immediately.

Astrid – Escape? Did you see its speed? You can't run from that thing.

Zyphus – It can even break dragon bones.

Strom – That's why we need a backup.

Sam – I can cast a barrier. It won't last long, but it can shield you from its blows. Give us time.

Wraith – Then we need a big move. Something huge. Something it won't expect.

Strom – …Big, huh? Yeah. I've got something.

The others glance at him. They know what he means: the Fire Strike. A forbidden technique that can call down an asteroid from a pebble.

The team sets off toward the cursed cave once more. But as the shadows grow deeper, the air turns heavy. They freeze. From inside the cave… and from behind them… footsteps. Wet, thunderous.

Strom – …No.

The Blood Titan isn't hiding anymore. It's waiting. Watching. Smiling with its two heads.

Chapter 7 — The Blood of Blood

The team marches toward the cursed cave. Every step feels heavier, the air itself soaked in tension. Inside, the Blood Titan is waiting… but none of them know how this battle will truly end.

Strom – Everyone ready?

Team (together) – Hell yeah!

Strom – Then let's finish this monster!

They charge. From the shadows, the Blood Titan rises, both mouths opening in a roar that shakes the trees.

The First Clash

Sam and Violet strike first—fire and ice exploding across the Titan's chest. Wraith and Astrid dart in next. Wraith blurs past its swings, her twin blades cutting tendon and joint. Astrid's massive greatsword smashes into its torso, tearing deep with raw strength.

Strom and Zyphus close in last. Strom summons his storm of blades—two hundred shimmering weapons raining down like meteors. Zyphus hurls his spear straight into the Titan's jaw.

Zyphus – Hey, lovebirds! How's that for a kiss?

The spear pierces deep. The Titan staggers, but Strom is already carving chunks away with ruthless spear strikes.

For the first time, the Titan falters under mortal hands.

The Titan's Rage

Enraged, it slams both arms down. The ground cracks, shockwaves hurling trees aside. Sam steps forward, staff glowing bright.

Sam – Surprise, everybody. Shield time!

A glowing barrier bursts forth, holding the strike back. Strom's fire strike follows, engulfing the Titan. Violet fires volleys into the burning flesh. Lightning arcs from Sam's staff, blasting it off its feet. The monster crashes down, twitching.

The battlefield falls quiet. The team stares, gasping.

Strom – Guess what? We actually won.

Zyphus – Hell yeah, man! Done and dusted!

But their cheer dies instantly. The Titan's hand lashes out, grabbing Strom, Zyphus, Wraith, and Astrid. Sam and Violet are thrown aside, barely conscious.

Blood Titan – Mortals… you thought you could end us?

The Dragon Arrives

The ground shakes again. A colossal shadow descends. Dravyss lands in front of them, battered but unbroken. In her claw… hangs Nyna, trembling.

Strom – Mom! What are you doing?! Let her go!

Dravyss (cold) – Should I call her Nyna… or the child of the Blood Titan?

The words crash over them. Silence. The team stares. Even Strom's hand trembles.

Zyphus – …You gotta be kidding me.

The Titan's grip tightens, lifting the warriors higher.

Blood Titan – Release her… or they perish.

Dravyss – Then release them.

The standoff is unbearable. Mother of dragons against ancient abomination. Both strong enough to destroy everything around them.

Clash of Monsters

Dravyss – Forgive me, childrens… this time, I must act against your wishes.

Her tail lashes. In a single strike, the Titan is hurled across the battlefield, smashing through stone. It roars back, but Dravyss is already on it—claw gripping one neck, slamming it down so hard the ground splits apart. Her other claw rakes across its torso, tearing through muscle. For the first time… the Blood Titan hesitates.

Narration – Because against Dravyss, even this nightmare feels fear.

Chapter 8 — The Rage

The battlefield shook. Dravyss and the Blood Titan clashed with earth-breaking force. Her claws ripped, his fists slammed. At last, one massive strike caught her face, and the Titan wrapped its many arms around her from behind, squeezing down with brutal strength.

Her wounds from past battles burned. She fought, but for the first time, it wasn't to win—it was simply to survive.

Strom's Awakening

In the rubble, Strom's eyes snapped open. He saw Dravyss crushed in the Titan's grip. Memories stormed through his mind—every scar, every sacrifice she had taken for him. And now… this thing dared to hold her.

His spear trembled in his hands. His eyes glowed—not the calm blue of the Dragon Knight, but blazing red, like molten fire. The air itself distorted around him.

This wasn't simple anger. This was something deeper.

With a roar, Strom charged. His spear pierced through the Titan's left head. The monster staggered, grip weakening. Dravyss broke free, striking hard enough to crack the earth beneath them. For the first time, the Titan hesitated.

Rage Unleashed

But Strom didn't stop. His aura flared crimson, wild, unstable. Wraith, watching through bloodied eyes, felt it immediately—this wasn't normal rage. This was something wrong.

He lunged again, slashing with such force that the Titan's fused form split in two. Husband and wife, once bound, now torn apart.

But Strom didn't see broken enemies. He saw only the threat that had dared to hurt his mother.

Again and again, he drove his spear down. Each strike heavier, sharper, blood spraying across his armor. Even Dravyss herself would have faltered under blows like these.

Strom (roaring) – HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER!

The husband half of the Titan shuddered… and fell silent and the wife half because the Frist strike was too butral that it's almost end the wife half.

The Breaking Point

The battlefield grew still. Strom's chest heaved, his aura burning red. His gaze locked on Nyna, trembling nearby.

The old woman tried to crawl away, but Strom's steps shook the ground as he advanced. Spear raised, eyes blazing—he looked ready to cut down even her.

But before he could reach her, his family—broken, wounded, but unyielding—blocked his path.

Dravyss – Strom… this isn't you.

Astrid – You're not a beast!

Zyphus – Brother, we already won. Stop!

Violet – We're alive because of you, please, let it end.

Wraith - we are here Strom , please stop please

Strom's spear trembled. His eyes never left Nyna.

Until one voice cut deeper than the rest.

Sam – Angela wouldn't want you like this. Not as a monster.

The name struck him like thunder. His chest seized. His breathing faltered. Slowly, painfully, his eyes faded back from red to blue.

The storm receded.

Aftermath

Silence fell. Nyna wept over the bodies of her parents. The team slumped to the ground, broken but alive.

Dravyss shifted into her human form and pulled Strom close, wrapping her arms around him.

Dravyss (softly) – I'm okay, son. You don't have to change.

One by one, the others joined the embrace, holding Strom in warmth, burying the storm within him.

But deep inside, they all felt the same truth.

When Strom's rage awakens… even his family cannot feel safe.
