## Land of Rivers - Night
The border between Kumogakure and Konohagakure territories was separated by the Land of Rivers, a nation that now served as a massive battlefield. Enmu carried Gyokko's ceramic pot through the desolate landscape, his enhanced senses taking in the overwhelming scent of blood that permeated the air.
Two nights had passed since their departure from the base. The journey had been swift, covering ground that would take normal humans weeks to traverse.
'The entire nation reeks of death,' Enmu thought as he observed the destroyed villages they passed. Empty houses stood like broken teeth against the night sky. The few surviving civilians looked more like walking corpses than living beings, their eyes hollow with despair.
Enmu paid them no attention. His mission required focus, and Lord Muzan's orders were absolute.
"The war has quieted in this region," Gyokko's voice emerged from within his pot. "I can sense the stagnation in the air."
"Indeed, my lord." Enmu replied, his perpetual smile never faltering. "Which suggests Kumogakure is planning something significant. They wouldn't withdraw their forces without reason."
Using his enhanced senses, Enmu detected the general direction of Konohagakure's camp. The concentration of chakra signatures was unmistakable. However, approaching directly would be suicide.
'The Hyuga clan's Byakugan can see through any stealth technique I possess. And the Aburame clan's insects patrol constantly. A frontal infiltration is impossible.'
Enmu changed direction, seeking Kumogakure's position instead.
'If I cannot capture them through stealth, I'll create chaos. During battle, opportunities arise.'
## Kinkaku Unit Camp - Same Night
The Kumogakure camp sprawled across a cleared valley, their sentries alert despite the apparent lull in fighting. Enmu observed from a ridge overlooking the encampment, identifying the banners and formations below.
"It's the Kinkaku Unit, lord Gyokko." he murmured to Gyokko. "Lord Muzan will be pleased with this development."
The legendary brothers Kinkaku and Ginkaku commanded this force. Their reputation as pseudo-jinchuriki who had survived being swallowed by the Nine-Tails was well-known throughout the shinobi world. More importantly, they possessed four of the Sage of Six Paths' legendary treasures.
'The Benihisago, Kōkinjō, Shichiseiken, and Bashōsen. Tools that require immense chakra to wield effectively. Perfect for creating the chaos I need.'
Enmu spent the remainder of the night studying patrol patterns and identifying key personnel. The Kinkaku Unit operated with military precision, but they had grown complacent during the recent ceasefire.
## Following Day - Late Afternoon
Enmu tracked a three-man scout team as they patrolled the perimeter of Kinkaku Unit's operational area. He waited until they had moved sufficiently far from their base before emerging from concealment.
The Kumogakure shinobi reacted immediately, reaching for weapons and beginning hand seals. They never completed their techniques.
"Blood Demon Art: Sleep Induction," Enmu whispered.
All three scouts collapsed instantly, their minds overwhelmed by his ability.
Enmu knelt beside the unconscious forms and placed his hands on their foreheads. "Blood Demon Art: Dream Manipulation."
Within their induced sleep, he crafted a perfect illusion. The scouts believed they continued their patrol, moving through familiar terrain until they discovered a Konohagakure encampment. Every detail was precise - the positioning of sentries, the clan symbols on uniforms, the layout of defensive positions.
In their dream, they observed the enemy camp with professional thoroughness before withdrawing to report their discovery.
Enmu guided them back to their original position and released both techniques simultaneously. The scouts awakened with perfect recall of their "discovery," completely unaware that it had been a fabrication.
"Sir!" The team leader called out to his companions. "We need to report this immediately. A full Konoha camp, less than two hours from here!"
They departed at maximum speed, their excitement palpable.
## Kinkaku Unit Camp - Evening
Kinkaku's scarred face twisted into a savage grin as he received the scouts' report. The massive shinobi stood nearly seven feet tall, his body bearing the chakra-enhanced physiology that came from surviving the Nine-Tails' digestive system.
"How many?" Kinkaku's voice rumbled like distant thunder.
"At least thirty, sir. We confirmed Hyuga and Aburame clan symbols. Defensive positions suggest they're planning to hold long-term."
Ginkaku, slightly smaller but equally imposing, stepped forward. "Brother, this is the opportunity we've been waiting for. A decisive strike could cripple their entire front."
"Agreed." Kinkaku's eyes gleamed with battle lust. "Prepare the unit. We attack within the hour."
The camp exploded into activity as the legendary brothers prepared their forces. Enmu watched from a distant ridge, satisfaction evident in his unchanging smile.
'Lord Muzan's wisdom guides my actions. Soon, the chaos will provide perfect hunting conditions.'
## Konohagakure Camp - Same Evening
The Hyuga sentries detected the approaching Kumogakure force long before they came within conventional sensing range. Their Byakugan pierced through darkness and concealment with supernatural clarity.
"Massive chakra signatures approaching from the northeast," reported a Hyuga branch family member. "I count over fity shinobi. The Kinkaku Unit's banners are visible."
Within minutes, the alarm had reached the camp's commanders. Aburame Shiki, current leader of his clan, exchanged a meaningful look with Hyuga Tennin, the Hyuga clan head.
"They're moving too aggressively for a probing attack," Shiki observed, his voice calm despite the circumstances. "This is a full assault."
Tennin activated his Byakugan, veins bulging around his eyes as he surveyed the approaching threat. "Kinkaku and Ginkaku are both present. They're carrying the legendary treasures."
"Then we meet them properly," Shiki replied. His insects began emerging from his sleeves, forming dark clouds around his body. "Signal general battle positions. All clan forces are to engage."
The Konohagakure camp transformed from peaceful encampment to military formation within minutes. Sarutobi, Senju, and Shimura clan members took their assigned positions while the Hyuga and Aburame clans prepared their specialized techniques.
The initial clash occurred in a forest clearing between the two camps. Kinkaku's war cry echoed through the darkness as his unit descended upon the Konoha forces like a natural disaster.
Fire Release techniques from the Sarutobi clan met Water Release jutsu from Senju shinobi, creating massive clouds of superheated steam. Aburame clansmen used their bugs to attack in the mist.
The Hyuga clan moved with deadly precision through the chaos. Their Byakugan allowed them to see through the steam and confusion, identifying enemy weak points with supernatural accuracy. Gentle Fist strikes dropped Kinkaku Unit members with single touches, their chakra networks sealed or destroyed.
Hyuga Tennin engaged Kinkaku directly in the center of the battlefield. The clan leader's Byakugan blazed with intensity as he analyzed his opponent's chakra system.
"Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven!" Tennin spun rapidly, creating a defensive barrier of chakra that deflected Kinkaku's initial charge.
Kinkaku roared in frustration and drew the Bashōsen. The legendary fan unleashed a devastating wind attack that tore through trees and scattered debris like leaves.
Tennin created another rotation to defend himself before closing distance with enhanced speed. His Gentle Fist technique targeted Kinkaku's pressure points with surgical precision, but the pseudo-jinchuriki's enhanced physiology absorbed the strikes.
Kinkaku retaliated with brutal physical attacks, his massive fists creating craters where they struck. The battle became a contest between refined technique and overwhelming power.
Nearby, Aburame Shiki faced Ginkaku in equally intense combat. Clouds of kikaichu insects swarmed around both fighters as Shiki attempted to drain his opponent's chakra.
Ginkaku wielded the Shichiseiken, its blade crackling with soul-severing energy. Each swing incinerated dozens of insects while sending waves of destructive force through the air.
"Bug Clone Technique!" Shiki created multiple duplicates of himself using his insects, forcing Ginkaku to attack multiple targets simultaneously.
The legendary shinobi's experience showed as he identified the real Shiki and launched a concentrated assault. His chakra burst destroyed the approaching rinkaichu before they could burrow into his skin.
Enmu observed the battle from concealment, waiting for the perfect moment. The fighting had spread across a wide area, with smaller engagements occurring throughout the forest.
'There,' he thought, identifying a group of injured Hyuga clan members who had withdrawn from the main battle. 'Main family, based on their lack of curse seals.'
"Lord Gyokko," Enmu whispered to the pot he carried. "It's time."
The Upper Moon Five emerged from his ceramic vessel in a swirl of fragments, his pale flesh gleaming in the moonlight. Multiple eyes focused on the battlefield below.
Gyokko hissed reverently. "My pot can contain him perfectly."
Enmu nodded and reduced the distance to his targets. A mixed group of Kumogakure and Konoha shinobi had become separated from the main battle, their injuries slowing their movement.
"Blood Demon Art: Sleep Induction."
The technique affected both sides equally, causing them to collapse into immediate slumber. Among the unconscious forms, three Hyuga main family members lay defenseless.
"Quickly," Enmu instructed.
Gyokko moved with supernatural grace, his ceramic pots appearing around the unconscious Hyuga. The vessels expanded to accommodate human forms before sealing completely.
"The Byakugan is secured, Lord Muzan will be pleased," Gyokko said as he returned to his traveling pot.
Enmu collected the vessel and withdrew from the battlefield, leaving the remaining unconscious shinobi to awaken naturally. By the time they recovered, the demons would be miles away.
The battle continued to rage behind them as they departed, neither side aware of what had been taken.
## Three Days Later - Twelve Kizuki Base
Kenji stood in his chambers as Enmu knelt before him, Gyokko's pot positioned respectfully to one side.
"Lord Muzan," Enmu said, his voice filled with reverence and fear. "The mission has been completed successfully. A Hyuga main family member have been captured with their Byakugan intact."
"Acceptable," Kenji replied, his crimson eyes examining the ceramic vessel.
Gyokko emerged from his pot and prostrated himself immediately. "Lord Muzan, this humble servant ensured he suffered no damage during transport."
Kenji nodded once.
'The Byakugan's three-hundred-sixty-degree vision and chakra pathway sight will complement sharingan perfectly. Combined with biological manipulation, copying any technique becomes trivial.'
"You have both served adequately," Kenji said. "Return to your duties. The next phase of operation will begin soon."
Both demons expressed their gratitude for his approval before withdrawing.
