Each one cultivated, absorbing spirit energy from the surroundings and channeling it into the main body. The effect was terrifying; his growth speed was several times faster than an ordinary spirit master.
By the end of the month, Ayan sat cross-legged in meditation. The gentle flow of spirit power inside him had become a full, rich current. He opened his eyes slowly, the corner of his lips curling upward.

As if sensing the change, Tang San appeared at the doorway. His calm eyes swept over Ayan.

"Level 10 after only a month?" he muttered, surprise flickering across his normally composed face. "Not bad. You're ready for your first spirit ring."
Tang San turned toward Master. "Then… are we going to the Spirit Hunting Forest?"
Master nodded. "I was planning to take you, Tang San. But if Ayan is ready, both of you can go together. It will be more efficient."
Ayan tilted his head. "So I'm invited to this little trip? I thought you weren't exactly the type to take extra students under your wing."
Master gave him a flat look. "I'm not. I'm only ensuring you don't die before reaching your potential. Don't expect me to guide you like I do Tang San."
Ayan smirked. "Good. I prefer being my own master."
The matter was settled. The next morning, Master would lead Tang San and Ayan out of the academy. Their destination — the Spirit Hunting Forest. Their goal — the first step toward becoming true spirit masters.
