Miranda observed Ryan carefully, catching the momentary flash of rage that crossed his features. His eyes lingered on her engagement ring, his expression hardening visibly.
"My choice of attendees for any meeting is entirely my prerogative and not subject to discussion," Nolan continued coolly. "More importantly, we're gathered to address the two hundred and seventeen thousand dollars embezzled from Shelton Industries over the past eleven months."
