In fact, prophecies about the Great Rift were not new within the Inquisition; scattered reports and predictions had previously mentioned similar possibilities.

The high level of importance the Inquisition placed on it largely stemmed from the unique nature of the current war situation.

On the other hand, Alex cleverly invoked Old Man Huang's name to emphasize the seriousness of the issue, which significantly boosted the report's influence.
Of course, the report's warning about the impending full resurgence of the Space Necron Dynasty was equally unignorable.

Among the primary core forces mobilized were, of course, the Inquisitors of the Outreach Ordo.
These Inquisitors, who had long dealt with Xenos, each commanded their own assigned forces, often composed of specially modified assassins, battle-hardened Deathwatch Space Marines, or well-equipped Inquisition Stormtroopers.
They possessed extensive experience in dealing with Xenos, from the brutal charges of Orks to the cunning tactics of Eldar, and even the biological tides of Tyranids, all of which had been targets on their kill lists.
If properly utilized, an Inquisitor could very well sway the outcome of a war on a planet.
They were not only proficient in the weaknesses of various Xenos but also skilled at identifying the most critical strategic points in complex battlefield situations.
However, for the Inquisition, Inquisitors alone did not represent the full power of the Inquisition.
The true strength of the Inquisition lay in its ability to mobilize other Imperial military forces, from regular Imperial Army regiments to the most elite Space Marine Chapters, from the Adeptus Mechanicus's Titan Legions to the Naval fleets, and theoretically possessing command authority over all other Imperial units.
This power derived from the Emperor's own authorization, allowing Inquisitors to override the Imperium's complex bureaucratic system in times of crisis.
In other words, when an Inquisitor was present, he could unite Imperial forces that would otherwise be at odds, and make them perform at 120% combat efficiency.
If the Inquisition wished, the number of troops they could mobilize would not even be less than the Expeditionary Force currently commanded by Alex.
After all, in many Imperial conflicts, the main orchestrators were often just one or two Inquisitors.
And with the Inquisition fully exerting its influence to mobilize troops, the three million Astra Militarum originally planned for this Expeditionary Force completed their assembly ahead of schedule and were already ready for deployment.
